    Nations of the New Pacific Order that have remained in peace mode from the beginning of the war through February 1st, minus current red team senators, will be barred from sending and receiving aid for a period of 1.1 x the duration of the war as set on February 1st, 2014. The duration of this term is equal to 100 days spanning from the 12th of February till the 23rd of May 2014. The list of nations affected will be posted below. The New Pacific Order shall be disallowed from assisting financially or militarily in any remaining conflicts related to the current war.

    The New Pacific Order and Christian Coalition of Countries agree to white peace.

     

    I'm happy the war is over and all, but I'm gonna quote this wordplay for posterity, just because I'm an annoying bastard.  Besides, what's a good NPO thread without some controversy? :)

    Abused NSO out of raw cowardice? You mean we took the fight to a group that had been trying to rile up support to hit us for months? You must really be a fool if you think that you can spin the past so much. I remember just about every time Polar made a post we had NG/NSO telling us we were dead in the future. Apparently, beating the hell out of someone who is trying to kill you but doesn't have the guts or the resources - is cowardice. Then what does that make NSO?

     

    Too much time on the spin wash...

     

    Yes, it was done out of pixel-hugging fear.  That's why Polar ran to TOP in August.  TOP didn't need Polar's military strength, but it gave them a more immediate chance to finish off Equilibrium.  And here we are today, with Umbrella (and maybe TOP) trying to punish NPO for Brehon's actions against Umbrella in EQ, despite the fact that those actions ended up not costing Umbrella any pixels in the final analysis.

     

    But let's not forget, we wouldn't be here without Polar's war of naked aggression.  When you treaty a former enemy then start a preemptive war just because people are calling you names on the OWF, that says a lot about your character.

    You pretend to convince us that NPO will come to the rescue of the weak and abused? As her past record proves, in such an event they will sit out or side with the stronger side. If I'm the stronger I don't need them, and if I'm the weaker I don't want them joining the dogpile.

     

    Much like NPO sat out this very war, and didn't rush to the side of NSO when Polar abused them out of raw cowardice.  Oh wait, no we didn't.  We entered this war before anyone else on our side. We ran the numbers, just like you did, and knew it was going to be our collective asses.  We came anyway.

     

     

    I can't tell whether this was said tongue-in-cheek or genuinely.

     

    Oh, it's definitely a little of both.

     

     

    A little break in the tension:

     

    WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

     

    Because I am a masochist.

     

    There should quite honestly be a medal for this. It's not the casualty count that makes the man, but the psychological torments endured while reading these terrible threads.
     
    In reality this is actually retribution for mary's ban on huggles.

    Having read this entire thread at one sitting, I'm going to reply to the only posts worth a damn.

     

    Topic spoiler alert: NPO's side throws their support behind this, Polar/TOP coalition rolls their eyes, Tywinn and Neo Uruk get in a pissing contest, and everyone avoids the thread following that.

     

    Almost, except the pissing contest never lived up to its full potential (and therefore the thread still has life in it).  Note: this is not an invitation to Tywin and Neo Uruk to engage in said contest.

     

    VektorZero and Iamthey are settling old debts with Red and Gandy Poodle. 

     

    This is all you need to know about TOP's motivations here.  Well, that and their ruthless desire to be a Hegemony even more dominant than NPO's at its heyday.  But who could fault them, any alliance that gets powerful enough dreams of godhood.  We certainly did. :)
