kitex Posted December 29, 2009 Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Treaty of Beaumont Article 1: Non-Aggression Section I: Neither the Commonwealth of Texas nor Blue Heaven shall infringe on the sovereign territory of the other, whether through direct force, covert operations or other methods. Section II: Should issues arise, The Commonwealth of Texas and Blue Heaven agree to keep all actions strictly diplomatic and under no circumstances resort to military force against the other. Article 2: Free Trade and Economic Relations Section I: The Commonwealth of Texas and Blue Heaven agree to eliminate protective tariffs on all goods imported from the other. Section II: The Commonwealth of Texas and Blue Heaven agree to reduce port usage fees on all commercial vessels registered to each other. Section III: Neither the Commonwealth of Texas nor Blue Heaven shall hinder the establishment of branch locations of the other nation's corporations within one's own nation and, once established, these foreign corporations shall be taxed equally with domestic corporations. Section IV: The Commonwealth of Texas shall provide Blue Heaven with a fixed rate for oil, that being $25 per barrel, barring any major fluctuations in either nation's foreign policy or oil reserves. Article 3: Cancellation Section I: Should either signatory of this treaty deem it prudent to withdraw their signature, notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance.
