Michael McBride
The crowds cheered as Tom Dobbs, former President of the Federation of Pravus Ingruo, and now Director of Xaristan, walked towards the podium, the playing in the background. Leonard L. Church followed behind him. Stepping up to the podium, Dobbs put his hands out for the crowd to quiet down as he started to speak."Citizens of Xaristan, we have done it. Lightning has indeed struck twice." A loud cheer rose from the crowd. "Today is the beginning of a new era, one that you all made possible." Another cheer rose. "However, with this new era changes must be made. The name Xaristan has a negative connotation to it, due in no small part to the actions of former Director Louis Egon. He alienated North American nations, nations who we must court and be friends with to secure our future, not only individually, but also of our continent. Therefore, as of this moment, Xaristan no longer exists. Today, the Federation of Pravus Ingruo is reborn. With this rebirth, I extend a hand of friendship and openness to North American nations, especially New England. There is much that we all can do to secure this continent from foreign influence and aggression." "Other changes at this time include the renaming of the position of Director to President and the creation of the position of Vice President, which Leonard L. Church from the Blue Party shall fill." "To foreign nations, especially those nations with Nordic tendencies or the Dragon Empire, understand that our position on American sovereignty has not changed. You aren't wanted here. Stay out of American affairs, and we shall stay out of yours." "Questions, comments, !@#$%*es, or gripes can be sent to the office of Foreign Affairs. The new government will be announced in the coming days." **FPI News Report** "Louis Egon has not been seen since the elections began. President Dobbs revealed that he did not receive a congratulations or concession call from the former Director. While the new President has stated that Egon is not under investigation for any possible crimes, the dissapearance remains surprising for one who was so vocal and visible during his time in the top spot." **Classified message to Tahoe, Viniland, New England, and the Imperium of Man** Greetings, As the five strongest countries on the North American continent, I feel a summit would be beneficial to all of us to solidify frayed relationships and to discuss plans for the defense and security of the North American continent. The summit would take place in Redemptio. Please let me know if you plan on attending. Signed, Tom Dobbs President Federation of Pravus Ingruo

We look forward to improving relations with the new government, especially President Tom Dobbs. A new age has begun in North America." Immediately after the telegram was sent, President Kennedy comprised a response. CLASSIFIED Hello,I would be interested into attending a summit in Redemptio. For far too long, our relations with the now-former Xaristan had been strained, effectively preventing an 'united front' in North America, and now that the Federation of Pravus Ingruo is back, we can make that a reality. I look forward to improved relations with Pravus Ingruo.
