Vandalz LOLz strikes again!

from the Disparu News Network

ETERNA - The Eterna Police has received reports that the Vandalz LOLz, a vandal group composed of teenagers, is active again and is starting to vandalize several public and private locations throughout Eterna.

This situation has already happened in the past, and the Commons of Disparu decided to install security cameras on several public locations and crime hotspots in Eterna, and has encouraged private businesses to do the same. This action helped the Eterna Police to locate and recognize perpetrators. Several Vandalz LOLz leaders were detained by the Eterna Police, and crime rates went down.

However, Vandalz LOLz members that managed to stay incognito from the Eterna Police are active again, and there are several reports of security cameras being damaged or tampered with, graffiti and broken windows. Members of Vandalz LOLz still in public are claiming responsibility for these incidents, by spray-painting "THIS IS VANDALZ LOLZ!!!" in many places, and giving reports to local newspapers under false names.

One Member of the Commons, a DPD [Democratic Party of Disparu] member, first suggested that the Government should do the same thing they did last time; install more security cameras. However, MP Erika Gardenia, member of the Green Party of Disparu and current Minister of the Environment, argued that "these security cameras were only a temporary solution, they are not helping the current situation and did not help the Police at all when these vandals became active again". Gardenia suggested that the Government should build parks and recreational centres in order to try to rehabilitate the vandals. The money bill passed without any resistance, since other ministers and MP's such as MP Paige Joy (Minister of Health, Green Party) and MP Blaine Incendie (Minister of Education, Democratic Party) supported the bill, and major opponents such as MP Lance Pikachurin (Chancellor, Democratic Party), MP Wallace Muddkip (Minister of Foreign Affairs, Democratic Party) and MP Cynthia Celeste (Minister of Internal Affairs, Empire Party) are on a diplomatic trip to Reine Wald and could not vote against the bill. Gardenia also suggested that the Government should increase funding to the Eterna Police, which was also passed.

These new parks and recreation centres, along with an increased police force, made a huge impact on reducing the crime rate, since more and more perpetrators are turning over a new leaf and are living better and healthier. These results made Eterna's residents happier.

"I'm voting for the Green Party next time" said a local resident of Eterna.
