A phone in the residence of Lavo Shalam began ringing.

Ringing, for as long as he needed to take the phone and respond. On the other end, he would then, after a second or two of silence, hear someone say,

"Greetings. You may or may not know me, but Iwill arrive in your country within the next days, in Al Kuwayt. It is of great importance that you bring me and my cargo to a safe location.

This has to do with the Canadian business, by the way. I may not be Merkel, but I very well know about the treaty you have signed with her a few days ago. Her fears will, unfortunately, come true sooner than one may think. Also, I will bring a scientist with me, you may know him. Leclerc is his name."

For once, the emergency line was ringing in the middle of the afternoon. The problem was, it was in the middle of Lavo's nap. You see, he was recovering from the rather rude and early wake up call from Chairwomen Merkel. Lavo rose up rather slowly, getting his bearings. Once he realized the line was going he said aloud: "I swear if it's those Canadians again I'm going to shoot something." Naturally he was right, even though said caller was not government.

"I'll get you somewhere safe. Just answer me one question first, who are you?"

"I'll get you somewhere safe. Just answer me one question first, who are you?"

"Some know me as the 'Tankchairman', others as the Messenger of the fourth Horseman.

In reality, I am the Chairman of Saboria, Lynneth Sarkara. I will arrive within two days, in a submarine. With me I bring the entire knowledge of Canada."

Exactly 47 hours later, a submarine emerged outside the harbour of Al Kuwayt, from then on moving closer to the harbour until it could dock. Once it had stopped moving, a man in a white scientist-suit emerged from the sub while the frontal part opened, revealing that the sub was a pure transportation-submarine. Within its bowels was a heavy non-magnetic container. Getting it out of there would require a powerful crane, but not one that used a magnet, which the scientist said in broken arabic to the first official-looking person that approached him.

[arabic] "Is very important not use magnet crane. Must use conve...normal crane, very important.", or something to this effect.

Meanwhile, an elevator began rising from within the sub, a large man on it, sitting in a very unusual wheelchair. This wheelchair had tank tracks and looked heavy enough to be capable or "safely" ramming a car without being more than lightly damaged. There also were weapons hidden within it, though those were deactivated for the time being. A ramp extended, and soon the man would be able to drive onto the docks.

He turned to the man the scientist was talking to, in fluent arabic. "Greetings. I am the man Lavo Shalam most likely informed you about. Within the container are numerous hard drives, and thus it is imperative that it be brought onto dry land without the use of a magnetic crane, as is usual. I'm sure you understand?"

Edit: OOC: Reread the thread.

>>Exactly 47 days later<< when I said "2 days". Gee. That's a big mistake.

"Of course, it's standard procedure for computer and other magnetically-vulnerable objects. The crew will take care of that. Now, follow me, I'll take you to your escort." The man turned towards the scientist and said in English. "You speak English? I understand, talk little in it." Eventually they would be brought to a waiting TPC. After boarding it, they would be brought to a classified location. Awaiting there for them were a guest and their roommate, non other then Lavo Shalam and Baron Uberstein respectfully. "Welcome to your new home gentlemen." Lavo greeted them.

The scientist - Fjodor Leclerc, formerly Chairman of Canada and now former head-scientist of the secret canadian facility for genetic experiments - nodded when the man asked if he spoke english. Obviously he could speak it, as it was one of Canada's official languages.

The ride itself seemed rather short for the two of them, and after exiting the transport - Lynneth first, as he was sitting in the tankchair - they were greeted by the Rebel Army ruler, Lavo.

Leclerc bowed respectfully, while the man in the chair merely nodded, though more deeply than he would usually do. "It is an honour, Lavo Shalam." He then smiled at Uberstein. "Baron Uberstein...Long time no see."

Leclerc stood there, mostly silent. He was wondering how Sarkara had convinced him to come here, but he guessed that it was necessary, for one or another reason.

OOC: Why didn't you guys tell me I was needed. :P

IC:

Uberstein shakes the Chairman's hand, "Good to see you again Lynneth, I have some questions about that message you sent me when I took power in Finland." He chuckles, and turns to Leclerc, "I don't believe i've properly met you. But I'm sure we will get to know eachother seeing how we're living together. I will warn you preemptively that you are not to move anything in the kitchen, I don't like it when I can't find things."

He then turned to Lavo, "Tell me, when is that electronics shipment of mine from Mariehamm going to arrive?"

The Chairman's handshake was firm and strong, despite his age, which by now was 80 or more. "Ah...Message? You'll have to remind me about its content, Erwin. Then I may be able to explain it to you. Now, regarding the other thing, we indeed haven't really met properly before, despite us being allies for a while. Before I kind of flipped." He chuckled, having put that episode into the box of "Can be forgotten".

"But yes, we'll get to know each other well, I guess. About the kitchen, I'll keep it in mind. But I promise nothing."

After this, he drove a bit back and Leclerc stepped forward. "Baron Uberstein. It's good to see you in person, the man who influenced Canada quite a bit with his ideology. I hope we'll live together well, without destroying anything. Ah, and I'm Fjodor Leclerc, if you've forgotten. I was Canadian Chairman before Merkel."

He held out his hand, waiting for Uberstein to grasp and shake it.

"We're happy to have you." Lavo said, before turning to Uberstein. "That's what the big box in the computer lab is. I'm surprised you haven't noticed it yet."

"Thank you...Now, when will the hard drives arrive, approximately?", asked the Chairman Lynneth.

"Any minute now..." Surely enough, five minutes later a commando detachment (the place's guards) began to bring in dozens of boxes, each of them filled with hard drives.

Lynneth watched the crates arriving, merely stating "Excellent" as they were brought into the bunker.

Uberstein made note to show the message to the Chairman, then shook Leclerc's hand. "Always good to meet someone who doesn't want me dead." Uberstein grins, "I take it you've read my book?"

Leclerc nodded. His handshake was not as strong as that of the Chairman. It was that of a scientist. After a bit, he retracted his hand.

"Yes, I've read your book. And while I don't agree with everything, some things are good, and those have been implemented into Canada, by both Lynneth and me. Also, I think there's plenty of people in the world who don't want you dead, most of them outside of Europe..."

Leclerc looked around and sighed silently. "Quite empty here, I guess...Will we have TV and Internet?"
