LUANDA, PDRNA (North Angola) - President Agostinho Neto today in Luanda announced that the parliamentary polls for the election of the Constituent Assembly will take place on 15-16 April 2011. "The will of the Angolan people should be expressed with truth and without limitations on 15 and 16 April 2011, in the election of the Constituent Assembly that will opportunely be summoned" said President Agostinho Neto today. The task of the Constituent Assembly will be write and promulge the constitution of the People's Democratic Republic of North Angola. The politics of the PDRNA takes place in a framework of a parliamentary democratic republic, whereby the President of the PDRNA is the head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government, and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in the Angola People's assembly. Currently, political power is concentrated in the Presidency and the Military, forming the "Provisional Government of the People's Democratic Republic of North Angola". The executive branch of the government is composed of the President, the Prime Minister (currently vacant), and the Armed Forces Command. The Armed Forces Command, acting Council of Ministers, meets regularly with the President of the Republic to discuss policy issues. President Agostinho Neto promised to call general elections by the end of the second week of April 2011. Following the outcome of the General Elections, the democratically elected Angola People's Assembly will vest all legislative powers and promulge the new constitution of the PDRNA. The majority will submit the Government Cabinet to the President of the Republic, who will officially appoint the Prime Minister and the Ministers, who will vest the executive powers.

The PDRNA will also concretize efforts in the fight against smuggling, illegal immigration and human trafficking. We accept the offer of the Union of Arctica and officially establish diplomatic relations between our nations, sending Pedro Manuel Mantorras as ambassador of the PDRNA in the Union of Artica. Luanda, Northern Angola Agostinho Neto, President of the People's Democratic Republic of North Angola "By virtue of natural, historical and legal rights, and the sacrifices of successive generations who gave of themselves in defense of the freedom and independence of their homeland; and in exercise by the Angolan people of its rights to self-determination, political independence and sovereignty over its territory, The Angola People's Assembly, in the name of the People, hereby proclaims the establishment of the People's Democratic Republic of North Angola on our Angolan territory with its capital Luanda. The People's Democratic Republic of North Angola is the state of Angolans wherever they may be. The state is for them to enjoy in it their collective national and cultural identity, theirs to pursue in it a complete equality of rights. In it will be safeguarded their political and religious convictions and their human dignity by means of a parliamentary democratic system of governance, itself based on freedom of expression and the freedom to form parties. The rights of minorities will duly be respected by the majority, as minorities must abide by decisions of the majority. Governance will be based on principles of social justice, equality, welfare and non-discrimination in public rights of men or women, on grounds of race, religion, color or sex, under the aegis of a constitution which ensures the rule of law and an independent judiciary. Thus shall these principles allow no departure from Angola’s spiritual and civilisational values of tolerance and religious coexistence. The People's Democratic Republic of North Angola is an African state, an integral and indivisible part of the African continent, at one with that continent in heritage and civilisation, with it also in its aspiration for liberation, progress, democracy and unity. The People's Democratic Republic of North Angola calls upon African compatriots to consolidate and enhance the emergence in reality of our nation, to mobilize potential, and to intensify efforts whose goal is to transform Angola in a civilized and peaceful country. The People's Democratic Republic of North Angola proclaims its commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It proclaims its commitment as well to the principles and policies of the Non-Aligned nations. It further announces itself to be a peace-loving state, in adherence to the principles of peaceful coexistence. It will join with all states and peoples in order assure a permanent peace based upon justice and the respect of rights so that humanity’s potential for well-being may be assured, an earnest competition for excellence may be maintained, and in which confidence in the future will eliminate fear for those who are just and for whom justice is the only recourse. In the context of its struggle for peace in the land Angola, the People's Democratic Republic of North Angola calls upon the international community to bear special responsibility for the Angolan people and its homeland. It calls upon all peace-and freedom-loving peoples and states to assist it in the attainment of its objectives, to provide it with security, to alleviate the tragedy of its people, and to help it terminate caresty, famine, and poverty. The People's Democratic Republic of North Angola herewith declares that it believes in the settlement of regional and international disputes by peaceful means, in accordance with the International Law and international resolutions. Without prejudice to its natural right to defend its territorial integrity and independence, it therefore rejects the threat or use of force, violence and terrorism against its territorial integrity or political independence, as it also rejects their use against the territorial integrity of other states. Therefore, on this day unlike all others - as we stand at the threshold of a new dawn, in all honour and modesty we humbly bow to the sacred spirits of our fallen ones, Angolans, by the purity of whose sacrifice for the homeland our sky has been illuminated and our Land given life. Our hearts are lifted up and irradiated by the light emanating from the much blessed quest for independence, from those who have endured and have fought the fight of the camps, of dispersion, of exile, from those who have borne the standard for freedom, our, children, our aged, our youth, our prisoners, detainees and wounded, all those whose ties to our sacred soil are confirmed in camp, village and town. We render special tribute to the souls of our martyrs, to the whole of our Angolan people, to all free and honourable peoples everywhere, we pledge that our struggle shall be continued until the lawlessness and caresty ends, and the foundation of our sovereignty and independence shall be fortified accordingly. Therefore, we call upon our great people to rally to the banner of Angola, to cherish and defend it, so that it may forever be the symbol of our freedom and dignity in that homeland, which is a homeland for the free, now and always." ANGOLA, AVANTE! LUANDA, PDRNA (Northern Angola) - Aid workers are concerned that the people in Luanda, the Capital of Angola, are edging towards a humanitarian disaster, with hunger just one of a raft of issues waiting to confront them. Landmines, food shortages, ruined roads, scant basic services and years of anarchy or short and unstable governments give Northern Angola the dubious honour of being one of the worst places to live in on the planet - a country with some of the lowest human development indicators in the world. "People talk about pockets of emergency, but in Angola it's more like big black holes," said a humanitarian aid worker "Basic services are pretty abysmal outside the capital of Luanda, and certainly worse than anywhere else in Africa," he added. The new and weak provisional government, pretty much only in control of the Luanda Municipality, is headed by President Agostinho Neto planned the reintegration of returning refugees, helping them to generate an income by providing agricultural training, equipment and support. Angola's problems stem from the 27-year civil war: the country was torn apart by armed factions (now transformed in political parties) and the scene of intense, protracted fighting. The end of the war in 2002 brought little relief, as returning internally displaced persons and refugees tried to reintegrate into communities in remote, often arid areas. "I'm very worried about food security in Luanda," said the humanitaria aid worker. Fewer people are at risk in Luanda than in the south-centrally situated Planalto region, where foreign organizations have been providing assistance, but the Angolan people are scattered across a huge area where destroyed roads and landmines thwart access. Thousands of people have effectively been displaced from their villages because they do not have enough to eat and lack the basic tools to sustain themselves. During a visit by an European humanitarian organization, the aid workers found barely-clothed children and adults living in extremely difficult conditions: their homes were built of the most basic materials, and several of them had swollen bellies and pale hair - telltale signs of poor nutrition. The situation does not appear to have improved in other parts of the region. "It is our belief that you will still find pockets where people live like this, where people need food, clothing, blankets and also the most basic of infrastructure," Landmines - another deadly legacy of the civil war - are also seriously curbing aid work, despite the demining effort to make key roads safer. "Luanda's sorrounding roads are ringed with landmines. Just to get to their fields or to water points, people have to cross known mined areas," Landmines have prevented from properly researching the situation beyond the municipal centre of Luanda, but anecdotal evidence indicates that less than half of the local population are food secure. "People are not dying, but they are eating very badly and they are on the move looking for food, a general physical weakening can be expected which could, in turn, lead to much more serious health risks." But Angola's problems do not end there. Augmented by short-term food aid, a more long-term approach ensuring that all returnees have access to land, seed and equipment to carry out basic farming and build houses, is desperately needed. 5.
OOC: My mistake, I really should have rephrased that post better. Pravus Ingruo owns those lands and if you were interested in any, I'd recommend contacting him. (He doesn't own Wyoming or Oregon though.)
OOC: I wanted to roleplay the New California Republic not the New Wyoming Repulic or the New Oregon Republic.. if i did, i would have asked him in the first place, but like i said.. nevermind, i'll come back when and if there will ever be new space for new nations.
6.
OOC: The map hasn't been updated recently, this is true, however it is recommended to check out the latest posts in that thread to keep up to date. South California is owned by Shadowsage so you'll have to ask him. My lands can be seen in this post and as you can see on the map of California, the purple is owned by me with the exception of the San Fernando Valley which is pretty much an enclave within Shadowsage's California under my control. By the way, Junio Borghese, you aren't a new RPer, you've been here for some time, just under a new name. Come onto IRC and we'll talk, I can't give up my claims in California or in fact any of my other claims for they are of strategic value to me, yet I'm certain I can help you advise you on alternative locations if need be.
OOC: If California isn't avaliable then my country has no reason to exist in the RP, i don't think there is another California and if nobody is willing to let me rp there then i guess i'll have to leave and wait another year, i wanted to roleplay the NCR in California not in another place that's not California.. it would be pointless.. so nevermind.. i tried because i saw the white space on the map, and since J Andres was inactive, i tought it was an open land for new players (there is NO OTHER SPACE on the map, just for the record), i was wrong, my fault.
7.
"The American Union does not recognise the secession of their portion of California into a independent entity. As a result of this, the Holy American Empire was informed of this and we shall be activating the Protection Doctrine agreed by both parties to repel these separatists who have declared their existence without the acknowledgement of the American Union and the Holy American Empire." OOC: Needless to say, the northern section of California is owned by the American Union. As it appears that your in-game SoI doesn't cover your (invalid) claims, I'm sorry to say that this RP thread is somewhat null. Sorry about that, my friend.
OOC: The map is not updated, how am i supposed to know if is owned. Also if the northern part is owned then i'll take the southern park, and i didn't say "i control" i said "i claimed", is different.. i've joined the game one day ago there is no need to whipe me off the map like this. I always wondered why every rp post has to end up in some OOC debate, anyway let's try to settle down without kicking me out and without forcing me out of the game, if possible
8. DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE NEW CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC The Congress of the NCR "We, the People of the New California Republic, by Delegates in Congress assembled, do declare and ordain, that the Ordinance adopted by our Congress today, on the 9th day of November, A.D. 2010, under which the New California Republic was declared the successor state of the Tahoe Republic, has been ratified by the President of the New California Republic ; that all the powers that were delegated by the people of Tahoe to the Government of the Tahoe Republic in California, are now resumed;New California is of right absolved from all restraints and obligations to other countries, and is a separate Sovereign State, and that her citizens and people are absolved from all allegiance to any other government." Visalia City, the 9th day of November, A.D. 2010 New California Republic POLITICAL, HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL BACKGROUND OF THE NEW CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC The government of the NCR is much like that of the old United States of America, with a House of Congress staffed by elected representatives (Congressmen elected by their states). These representatives decide upon the President and Vice-President to head the council and govern the republic - under advice from the representatives, of course (NCR has no existing term limits). The titles for these representatives range from "Councilor", "Counselor", "Councilman", "Representative", "Senator", and in particular some settlements prefer to call their representatives "Governors". In any event, all titles are recognized and accepted outside of the congress chambers, but within the chambers, the titles are occasionally used as insults and spark furious debates - nothing more than petty displays of each state trying to exert its independence. NCR's gold-backed currency lost much of its value after the collapse of the Tahoe Republic, so NCR's dollar is now backed by gemsn and aluminum. The republic holds an iron fist over mineral resources, and provides electricity and to all mining activities in exchange for a firm foothold in the region. President Kimbell's State of the Republic messages are famous for inspiring countless people to join the "service" and rebuild civilization after the collapse of the Tahoe Republic. Under his rule, the republic is trying to grow, and he is focusing efforts on rebuilding the Tahoe-level infrastructure to support the growing population, finding new forms of transportation and manufacturing, clearing roadways and rail lines, fostering trade in the Republic (and with other territories), and dealing with threats swiftly and efficiently. In all his years, he never forgotten his roots in the small town of Visalia, and he has always striven to put the welfare of the common man above the wheels of progress. 9. Italy was a democracy when it collapsed. This is a fact nobody can't deny it. We have the proofs, the documents to prove this. That's why our activities decreased as the process of democratization proceeded. Of the members of the Neapolitan government, nobody was part of the Borghese regime. In this scenario, we see a Fascist-Friendly Carthage and an anti-fascist Neapolitan Government, with the difference we never changed side according to our needs.
10. Borghese answered he would have diplomatically supported Molakia and put effort in the healing of the relations between Italy and Somalia. In the relpy, the "rebels" asked for financial support. Borghese decided to stick with neutrality and isolationism and talks ended without a response.
11. This is the original message, in the archives of the old Ministry of Foreign Affairs. October 22, 2009 Certain interest in Northern Molakia wish to see a different regime on the throne. I represent those interest. We wish to meet with Italy and request financial assistence to take down our brothers in the Royalty. Please reply in a secure channel and let us know of the meeting. -Your Friend Alex R.
12. It makes you nothing better than a fascist. President Pagano was a member of the CLN, the anti-fascist movement, and he was always committed to fight fascism and Borghese's authoritarian regime. Carthage helped, funded, traded, supported and guaranteed the independence of Italy and Italian Somalia, reinforcing the regime while dissidents were being arrested and rioters dealt with rifles.
13. Carthage supported and helped Italy even if they knew about the oppressive policy of the Borghese Government. You are responsible just as the fascist are. You didn't complaint when we colonized Somalia and sent troops to defend Carthage. You guaranteed the existance of Italian Somalia and you defended us against the blockade of the Kingdom of Serca. If the Borghese regime lasted so long is also thanks to your support. And in our archives there are direct contatcs with Molakian authorities who asked us to fund and support a pro-fascist movement in their country. But we were neutral and isolationist, and we refused. We can't deny Borghese for some time ruled Italy trought the means of oppression and dictatorship, but we also have access to well documented relations between Borghese and many of the countries that today criticize his government condemn his policies.
14. The Italian Republic became a democratic nation by the end of September as documents and historical facts can prove. The OVRA police was disbanded and replaced by the DISR, 3000 political prisoners were released and fascist symbols were removed from the flag and the coat of arms, replaced by a red star and laurels, symbolizing the Republican nature of the country and the first article of the Italian Constitution approved in November "Italy is a Democratic Republic based on labor, the sovereignty belongs to the people who exercise it in the forms and the limits of the constitution". Civil liberties and individual rights were for the first time recognized and guaranteed by the constitution. Junio Borghese got himself the charge of President of the Republic. When the Italian Republic collapsed, the country had a democratically elected Constitutional Assembly. General elections were planned for January. When a provisional government was formed, the International Community refused to recognize it and the people, angry and frustrated, became stroppy and nostalgic of the regime. Many blame democracy for the disgrace of Italy, many leaders supported Junio Borghese during his Governments. Nations like Carthage supported and even defended Italian Somalia when the Kingdom of Serca set up a blockade. Our independence was Guaranteed by Austria and Carthage, who later backstabbed and betrayed us. But we know, history is written by the winners. But our history is recorded and well documented. In the current provisional constitution, it is categorically forbidden to reform the Republican Fascist Party in any form. The fascist, who have formed a new nationalist party "Forza Nuova", are just expressing their opinion as the constitution guarantees. If they will be denied their right to demonstrate, it will be no different than the first 5-6 months of Borghese Government.
15. OOC: I think you missed a meeting, me and Flying Scotsman have agreed on that one week ago. My country already exists in the CNRP world. And i roleplay the legacy of the country that existed 7 months prior to your arrival in Italy.
