Cascadia was informed of the move as it was part of former Alaska, and offered $5.8 billion international dollars in exchange for transferring full control of the Islands to Tikal. However, construction would go ahead for the time being whether Cascadia liked it or not, as Tikal saw it as essential step to protect the Americas further from foreign aggression. Under Tikal's protection, few attempts had been made by foreigners on American soil, so surely it was a policy that worked and could be continued in use. [Internal - Aleutian Islands, 2/7] Tikalian s and corvettes, arrived in the Aleutians. The first order of business was to isolate the native population and later convert them. For this purpose, several preachers had come along, concentrating on Unalaska, the largest settlement with just under 5,000 people. The troops that had come to turn several islands into naval and airbases outnumbered the natives twice, with two full divisions of mainly engineer groups. Today marked a wider expansion of the ongoing battle of economics, charisma, legitimacy, culture, kindness, and friendship. Speaking of advances, the hospital of Unalaska was refurbished, with Tikal's nano-medicinal technology being brought in to supplement the older treatments. Tikal's absolute ignoring of the outlaying Aleutian settlements currently provides a degree of near complete operational freedom to Procinctia Liberation Committee's ongoing efforts. Old Man Chigulax was bribed with $300,000 for complete access to his private island. The money was laundered as "tourist income" for Herbert Island. Ignorance of Tikal's on that local economy was a boon for Committee moving forward. Subverting populations numbering in total over 100 aside from the village on Uliaga was another. In response to the Procinctian efforts on St. George and the surrounding isles, Tikal offered all workers 2,000 international dollars per week if they didn't go to work, surely giving them overwhelming support in those islands. Money for not working surely was much better than money for working, however little. By standards of Tikal most of the region's population looks kind of suspicious. Near everybody has a Hawaiin shirt and wears it occasionally. Singling out people wearing might prove impractical. . . . .. as Hawaiin shirts included a large percentage of the region's casual wear. Investigating various"Generalissimo" would be including most of the region's many reenactors, comedians, and street corner performers. Cottage industry of various Generalissimo themed entertainments littered the bigger islands. Also surprising number of tourists cosplaying the Procinctian generalissimo. Insane and likely unsustainable population imbalance nearly everywhere. School aged children, mostly female, being a third of the overall population. That large a demographic would be difficult for Tikal keeping an eye on. Tikal's overall strategy of containment would be additionally hampered by one additional factor. . . . . . most agents currently fielded by the Procinctia Liberation Committee. . . didn't actually fit into Procinctian stereotypes. Right now most operations were scouting and infiltration. Loud, boisterous, over-the-top personalities who yell about Procinctia are rather noticeable. Thus intentional recruiting of people who lacked profile features associated with a Procinctian agent. Generalissimo's usual tactics were avoided by committee assets on the ground. Setbacks existed in that recruiting local people was rather difficult for natural introverts. . . [Internal - Aleutian Islands, 5/7] Construction on the military bases was on schedule, most of all the base in Dutch Harbor which would be capable of servicing a full carrier group. Radar stations, OTH as well as AA and coastal defence systems were in the process of being installed throughout the islands, ensuring that they would be nearly entirely unapproachable by hostiles once completed. Proselytising and preaching to the population were going well once it was isolated from the non-Tikalian world and opinions of the new governors rose steadily. It was increasingly to seem impossible contesting Tikal's rapidly growing authority on Unalaska. Estimated that a strong Tikal influence, however indirectly, was gaining momentum on the closest islands. Without a soldier on the ground Amaknak and Kodiak Islands were probably in their camp. Silver lining in that rapidly growing influence was limited to a relatively small portion of the Aleutian. Lots of resources focused on a single island. Even as Unalaska and the rest of the Aleutians were officially proclaimed part of Tikal, under their rule and law, a team of special operatives was made ready to search for the only person in the world to stop Procinctian agitators. Generalissimo, Generalissimo of Procinctia him-very-self. Tikal's genius maneuver had mostly knocked the wind of potential resistance. So long as the South Americans continued their search for Generalissimo the population has kept in line. It took even less time for an entire culture, a nation, a people, and all their technological advancements to blink out of reality - displaced to Elsewhere. A place where no creature could ever follow. The sudden and unexpected collapse of Tikal opened up the Aleutians to grasp of Procinctia Liberation Committee. Was merely an issue of consolidating all existing gains. Four Mountains Offensive (3/7) Fishing village on Chagulak Island supported with Procinctia Armament funds, resources, and goods.
