The Prime Minister announced that the Government had applied to have Kanvers join the North Atlantic Defense Coalition, or NADC. The announcement comes a full three years after all those in Kanvers over 18 were permitted to vote on whether or not to join the NADC. 64% of the voters voted for Kanvers to join, but after a number of problems, it is only now that the PM has finally again stated that he has applied to have Kanvers join. The application should be reviewed and either granted or denied within a week. As part of the deal for the join, the Government will receive £6,000,000 in donation money. The Minister of Finance has stated that the money will go to the Military, Healthcare, and Education departments. It was also hinted in a Government statement that some of the money will be used for technological development.
