Yawoo Posted July 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 21, 2010 The L.S.S. Talluah led carrier battle group has officially taken control of Trindade and Martim Vaz archipelago. The captain of the L.S.S. Talluah personally planted the Louisianan flag above the Naval base there. Since the Holy American Empire had constructed a Naval base, various facilities and even towns on the island there wasn't an immediate demand for any building supplies from the battle group. Supplies from the battle group would replenish any shortages at the Naval base and Louisiana would begin shipping in supplies to the islands immediately. The inhabitants of the towns were introduced to Louisiana laws and legal procedures - a transition period from the old Holy American Empire laws to the laws of Louisiana would be pegged at a year during which time Louisianan officials would hold mandatory classes for the citizens of Trindade and Martim Vaz to teach them about these laws and procedures. A detachment of two hundred Louisiana Marines and Naval personnel were placed on the archipelago to man the Naval base while the Talluah battle group departed for Louisiana.
