Druidic Graduating Class of 2009

This last sunday marked yet another great milestone in Terrestrian history, the next graduating class from the Grand Druidic Academy. The ceremony was held in a traditional style beginning with a speech from principal Icesong. But the real highlight of the show was a joint speech from the three tied valedictorians: Angela Symphony-sky, Arthur Earthbreed, and the gifted Talo Forestspeaker, the youngest graduate from the academy.

Angela Symphony-sky, age 18, comes from the prestigious and very wealthy Symphony-sky family who developed the Symphony Coast into the economically advanced province it is today. It comes to no surprise that she is among the top of her class

Arthur Earthbreed (left), age 18, is the son of famed Terrestrian scientist, Albert Earthbreed, the creator of many inventions that helped shape Terrestrian life as we know it.

Talo Forestspeaker, age 13, has an interesting and amazing back story. He was found alone in the deep forest in the back country of the empire when he was only five years old by an old druid who was searching for a new meditation spot. The druid supposedly found the young Talo floating up about a meter in the air with a blue aura surrounding both him and the nearby trees as if he was somehow communicating with the forest itself, an act only to be known to exist within the oldest and most skilled of archdruids. This is still only regarded as a far-fetched story by a senile old man, but no matter the authenticity of the tale, the story of Talo is a truly inspiring one.

After the speech, the generic ceremony schedule took place, music was heard, the graduates threw their hats into the air, and everyone celebrated. Congratulations druidic class of 2009!
