Bacharth Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) Halifax, Nova Scotia The southern coast of Quebec and the area surrounding Montreal has presented the Parliament of Brunswick with a petition. An almost unanimous vote from the two territories have voted to join the Republic. The Parliament has also voted to make Montreal the capital of Brunswick. Prime Minister Reynolds has allowed the embassy to stay in Saint John, while most government buildings will move to Montreal. The seat of the economy will remain in Quebec.
