School Bug

I am unable to purchase a school. I have 5 schools + 1 university. I have sufficient funds (at least according to the guidelines). I have the following:

14,043 citizens

13 improvements

5 schools

1 university

$122,664.11

According to the help screen, a school should only cost $85,000. The game is offering me improvements like a bank ($100,000) or stadium ($110,000), but not the last school.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You already have the largest number of schools you can have - 5. You should, however, be able to see a second university as an option.

Doh! It says '3 schools' before any University,not each University! My bad.
