The Confederate Marine Corps

Created by act of the House in 2160, the Marine Corps of the Confederacy of West Africa is the sword and shield of the Confederacy on land and sea. Focused on fast strikes with overkill-level firepower, the Marine Corps is perfectly suited for the hot, dry, and jungle environments it most often finds itself in. All Marine Vehicles are adapted with special intakes to reduce the harm sand and dust do to their engines, and Marine combat gear is optimized for climate control and armor protection, to decrease the discomfort - and thus increase each Marine's effectiveness - incurred by fighting in such environments while also providing the best protection possible.
