Requiring Modern Military Equipment

Lestari

Recommended Posts

It has come to the attention of the Eastern French leadership that the equipment currently being used by our military may lack the efficiency that we require against potential threats . Therefore, this is a request and an offer to those nations of the world who possess the greatest military technology and prowess. Eastern France is interested in purchasing large amounts of advanced equipment (firearms, vehicles, military hardware, etc), as well as training in the usage and maintenance of this equipment.

The United Federation of the East offers an arms package that can be sustainably maintained by the Eastern French with its own domestic capabilities. If you wish to inquire about more advanced systems, that too is available but it would make you more dependent on foreign advisers to maintain your forces.

Boeing representative:

Our first offer is a 4+++ Multi-Role Fighter. We believe this unit is optimized for your nation's development level. The Silent Hornet offers a comprehensive survival package which combine both 'stealth' and performance features. While it is not as comprehensive as the much harder to maintain fifth generation fighters, it is optimized for air to air stealth, most of the draw backs are in air to ground. This means for defensive measures the Silent Hornet can match many fifth generation enemy units. Further the units is adaptable and capable of carrying large amounts of external weapons, this will allow it to play an interdiction and close air support role.
F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet Block 3 'Silent Hornet' French Variant

Thrust: 35, 000 lbf dry, 55, 000 lbf with afterburner

Weight:

Empty weight: 32,081 lb (14,552 kg)

Loaded weight: 47,000 lb (21,320 kg) (in fighter configuration)

Max takeoff weight: 66,000 lb (29,937 kg)

Combat Radius: 600 nmi

Range: 1400 nmi

Maximum Speed: Mach 2.2

Super Cruise: Mach 1.4

Avionics: The Silent Hornet is equipped with integrated AESA radar, synthetic aperture radar, electro optical IR, and LIDAR sensor systems. AESA radar is configured with low probability of intercept and direct energy attack capabilities against some vulnerable electronic systems based off of the capabilities of 5th Generation fighters. It is also capable of next generation jamming capability. Because the AESA can function as a broad band uplink, it is capable of and designed to transmit tailored data streams which give the new F/A-18 E/F a cyber warfare capability. The Silent Hornet is fly by light, giving it both excellent performance and resistance to most EMP weaponry.

Stealth Features: Although no 4th generation air frame can be true all aspects stealth, the Silent Hornet was designed to come as close as one could and be serviceable by less developed nations. Silent Hornet retains many of the reduced cross section features of the Block 1 and Block 2 Hornets, but builds on the legacy of the Boeing F-15 Silent Eagle, employing conformal internal weapons bays and is optimized for air to air stealth combat rather than air to ground. To compensate for the added weight, the Silent Hornet's air frame employs 3-d printed composite air frames which provide even more accurate shaping at a reduced weight and have greater flexibility for dealing with air resistance. The addition of internal weapons bays decreases total air resistance (relative to external weapons) and decreases the forward radar cross section of the air craft. This is further increased by more durable radar absorbent material coating developed for the F-35 C block, which is designed to stand up to the elements. The Block 3 has further increased its stealth features by a new engine which features both a 25 percent increase in total thrust and super cruise capabilities decreasing the IR detection of this aircraft. The engine has been reshaped with a thrust vectoring 'S' outlet configuration. For the weapons pylons on the outside of the aircraft, they have been reshaped with stealth in mind, reducing both drag and radar cross section (although still substantially more than with most regular weapons systems). They can also be jettisoned after use in high threat environments. The AESA radar system is one developed from Chongqing Aeronautic's AESA radar employed on the EF-50 Banshee, and while not as powerful, retains many of the low probability of intercept features increasing the chance of first radar detection and thus first kill. Further the AESA's cyber warfare, jamming, and direct energy capabilities give it an edge in air to ground combat. With a body optimized for air to air combat, and a cyber/electronic warfare suite and super cruise capability for air to ground, the Silent Hornet offers a comprehensive survivability packaged unmatched by the other 4th generation aircraft around.

Weapons:
1 20 mm M61 Vulcan Cannon
6 Internal Weapons Bay (can employ medium air to air and air to ground weapons)
6 External Stealth Pylons (can employ tactical fighter aircraft munitions or ECM pods)
Additionally the Boeing Company offers to work with our partner companies to sell an overall radar and infrared air defense system, as well as surface to air missiles which can network with the Silent Hornet, enhancing its capability. Additionally the Silent Hornet is compatible with munitions that can not just be purchased from the United Federation of the East's arm suppliers, but also nearby Sovereign Initiative members such as: Athens, Nordland, and Rebel Army. This means that Eastern France would have the capability to shop for advanced precision weapons from several nearby markets as well as the United Federation of the East and Novak. This would minimize long term operation costs, and provide several redundant supply chains. Additionally our engineers can work with you to allow for French domestic built munitions to be compatible as well.

If you are interested in purchasing AWACs, we can also assemble a bid for that, let us know whether you prefer long range, or cheaper shorter range but short take off models.

Boeing also offers to sell the following support craft:

The MR-64 is well known for its reliability and ruggedness, and the 7.62mm bullet offers a far larger punch than the 5.56 of the other two entries. Eastern France would be wise to choose the weapon over the inferior competition.
The supposedly "superior" MR-64 is also a relic of the 1950s, and has seen little action abroad, and much heavier then the Rx4 Storm, has a longer barrel, which just adds to its bulky nature. Today's combat operations tend to be much more of a close encounter nature, which require guns to be lighter, and infantry to be more mobile. Though the raw energy of the 7.62mm is substantially higher, the Rx4 Storm can use both 5.56mm and Remington .223 cartridges interchangeably. The gun can also be tailored to used 6.8mmx43 rounds, which were initially used in research, but the 5.56mm was favored because other weapons in the SCGDF use that round.

The 5.56mm is also known to inflict more damage after impact, and most ballistic armor nowadays can stop both 7.62mm and 5.56mm rounds anyways, so why have a larger round when you can do more damage with the round used anyways? Saves money, causes more damage after impact. Use of specific ammunition and grain can also remedy stopping power as well, so the ground evens out there.

The Rx4 Storm is proven reliable, and a much more modern competitor to guns that had their heyday long ago. It can also be tailored to suit ones' needs, and with ammunition improvements, can easily compete with the MR-64. With the diverse climates of the Union of the Southern Cross taken into account, the Rx4 Storm has weathered them all and shown to have solid service.

Unit Name: F/A-66-Franco Variant
Unit Type: Light Weight Fighter

Jet Engine: 200KN 3D thrust vectoring turbofan
Weight: Empty: 23, 000 lbs Combat Loaded Weight: 35, 000 lbs
Thrust Weight At Empty: 1.95 Thrust Weight Loaded: 1.28
Maximum Speed: Mach 2.4
Super Cruise: Mach 1.8
Combat Radius: 650 nmi
Ferry Range: 1500 nmi

Avionic Features:

The Phoenix’s entire body is a radar system for its AESA radar. It provides 360 degree lock on coverage. The Phoenix’s radar has a 290 nmi range, and is configured for high bandwidth and x and l bands. Phoenixs as with all Chinese fighters network together to share information and can in groups form a multi-static radar. The plane also has synethic apeture radar to provide high resolution radar imaging of the battlefield. It is equipped with forward infrared electronic-optical sensors which allow for 90 degrees of forward long range detection on the infrared spectrum giving it the ability to engage targets even with some stealth on multiple bandwidths and get the first shot. Additionally the fighter is capable of firing image recognition terminal guidance based air to air missiles.

Beyond the difficulty of its own radar to jam, the Phoenix features a built in ECM suite which is capable of jamming enemy radar and disrupting missile lock-ons to other units (or itself if they manage to break its stealth. Its sensors are also well attuned to detect enemy radar including phased array radar, both for evasion and engagement purposes. It is equipped with a new ECM system which had increased processing power. Its ability to flood enemy spectrum with false information made it further resistant to detection, and in fact was capable of emitting false data on its distance to target to the enemy radar operator causing them to scramble forces in the wrong area of a battle space should that be tactically preferable to avoiding detection entirely. The secondary EO system serves as a filter against IR countermeasures employed by a target aircraft - the seeker is capable of rejecting deployed flares by cross-referencing data regarding UV and optical wavelength emissions with the IR component. The plane itself was equipped with directional infared countermeasures as well as the standard suite of infrared countermeasures. The Phoenix recent upgrades include the capability of its AESA radar to make direct energy attacks against targets. Some photonics for added jamming resistance. And a significantly improved cyber warfare suite.

Engine Specifications:

Built on an improved model of the F-65's turbofan, the F-165B engine provides extremely high performance and unparalleled maneuvering abilities. The engine has been protected from thermal emissions, making infrared tracking significantly harder. The unit is capable of sustained super cruise, allowing it to perform at sustained BVR range.

Stealth Features:

The unit is shaped to reduce its radar cross section profile, including 6 internal hard points for its weapons. The outside of the unit is covered with radar absorbent materials which provide protection against multiple radar bandwidths and are designed to defeat ultra high frequency radar as well. The units engine has been outfitted to minimize the IR and acoustic signatures especially using super cruise.

Specialized Equipment:

Weapons:
1x 25 mm Internal Auto Cannon

Avionics: Generation 7 Avionics developed between the Omniscient Empire of Naboo and the United Francoist Empire remain among the most advanced in production. With micronized ultra high output phased array radar, the unit is capable of getting a 360-degree look of the battlefield and engaging targets from up to 250 nmi away giving it excellent first look capabilities. The fighter is capable of finding and detecting most early stealth aircrafts, and those not fully protected, and is able to link into ground, ship, AWAC, and other planes sensors to assist in this mission. The AESA radar has some of the best jamming resistance, and is not likely to be intercepted by the enemy. Additionally, the radar is designed to scan on both X-Band and L-Band frequency for stealth planes not configured for them, giving it some capability against RCS targets. Flights of these F-65s network to provide multi-static radar coverage and with their 360 degrees get a side look. They are also equipped with some of the best forward look LIDAR and Infrared sensors, making them capable of first look on these spectrums as well. The F-65 also has an internal electronic warfare system for jamming enemy radar and is usually outfitted with ECM pods for additional jamming capability.

The plane operates on two highly specialized micro-chip processors. This allows it to constantly maintain a high level of data transfer between it and other units in the air.

Stealth Features: The F-65 Vanguard is designed with plasma stealth, RCS features, and radar absorbent coating. Its maneuvering canards are computer controlled to reduce RCS in high-speed flight; this said the F-65 is not a true stealth aircraft. Its designed to be a high performance and maneuverable aircraft instead. It relies on stealthier air to ground fighters and long range stealth cruise missiles to defeat enemy radar defenses, as well as its own extensive electronic counter measures suite.

Maneuvering: The F-65 is one of the most maneuverable aircraft in the world. Its delta shape and maneuvering canards ordinarily would give it high maneuvering; the thrust-vectoring engine propels it even further. It is capable of turning on a dime. The craft enjoys via the delta wing an increased angle of attack and greater stability, making it extremely easy to maneuver, while the maneuvering canards solve the problem of losing energy in attack making up for the principle weakness of the airframe type.
