Aggressivenutmeg
Committee of Defence meeting Anthony McGraw, droped the folder on the desk with a thud. "Before we conclude the meeting gents, I would like to draw your attention to this. The USC has issed statement saying that they going on maximum alert, I think they might try and pull something." McGraw said as the dossier was passed around. "And how is it our problem?" asked one of the committee members. "Well thats the thing, its not. However, Canada has a tradition of donating forces for peacekeeping efforts, and i for one would like to continue that tradtion." McGraw responded looking at the men in the room. "Well its simple then." said another committee member, "If the call is put out for foreign intervention, we can consider sending forces, with the approval of the Althing of cause. If not, then we let the situation resolve itself." there was a murmer of agreement from the men in the room. "Field Marshal, can we do that?" McGraw now turned to the Head of the Joint Chiefs, Michael Lee. who then turned to the Chief of the Army. "well, yes, of the top of my head, Task Force Arrowhead deployed. Airborne operation to secure airfields then we can deploy the rest of TFA and if they need it regular army support." The CoA replied. "I would also recomend using JTF2, for special recce and asymetric warfare." "Okay, so if the call goes out, we answer. agreed?" MGraw asked standing, the members nodded in agreement. "Well then gents, i do belive this has been a rather productive meeting."
