There hasn't been an interesting time since Karma. Most of us just don't care that much anymore, and are merely going through the motions because we don't feel like losing the communities we belong to.
-
god dammit. why is LF back in gov? Well, we're boned.
Congrats to my fellow paradoxians elected. May you lead, and serve, us well. -
Friends > infra
this rule can also be applied when losing infra to meet new friends. We certainly found that out with the alliances we now call friends. -

It's not their fault some people put them in a terrible position; they took that position and ran with it.
They took it, assumed it, twisted it on it's head, and are thoroughly enjoying it. -

its an affectionate name Goons gave us back in the day.
Anyways yay war and what not.
Affectionate is one way to put it. Not sure if it's the term I'd use. But I'll go with it.
Also, o/ LoSS and whatnot. Go have fun guys. -

The only thing that could be less of a surprise is the NPO treaty you're coming out with soon.

Kindly keep our secrets off the OWF please -
best I could give man. Wish I could have done more.
Really? Nice to know we were not friends. Glad TPF never went out of its way to lookout for you all... oh wait. Real classy LoSS.
With all due respect TBB, aside from Caesar, who else was in true contact on a gov to gov level with LOSS and TPF? Let alone a member to member level. Although I will agree, DR's post is a little...backhanded.
Echelon = Jaaku was really the only tie to them. There wasn't much communication outside of him with them.
this is true. I <3 Echelon, but that treaty should have been reviewed way before it was. At least in an effort to boost relations.
Valhalla = never should have happened. I think we had two guys that were friends with them and the rest of the gov either didn't care or didn't want them.
It was exactly two. And one of the people who set the treaty up on their end left. I think the logic of signing that treaty was "we're going to end up defending them anyways"
Zenith = Never should have happened. Again it was one or two guys that were friends with them and the rest of gov didn't care. What got this passed was they had Duncan King. That was the only person anyone really knew.
Odd, I seem to remember the majority of gov wanting to keep that treaty.
Aboooe: I don't know if the word stole is the right one. Maybe bribed with lots of cookies fits better. Jaaku always finds his way home, where ever that may be.
This is disturbingly true. Then again, I just can't resist the sexiness of CGB :awe:
Ok, I'm done with the nostalgia, questions.
Who's the current MoG?
what alliances are you currently looking at extending relationships with?
will you sell me tech?
When will your economy on the boards be fixed?
and will you ever break into a serious sanction competitor? -

I haven't been drunk since i started doing a large amount of FA work.

I have yet to be sober when doing FA work. If I'm going to lose IQ points, I might as well go all the way. -

Couldn't vote because neither option is correct.
The bottom line is that the reps are just asking for what has been lost by CnG et al. as a result of the aggressive actions by TOP. They are higher then reps in the past but more has also been lost in this war then wars in the past. We didn't declare this war we just want to be compensated for our loss as a result of the war of aggression launched by TOP.
With the said I'll happily keep fighting. As TonytheTiger points out TOP has bigger war chests and more nations in the 10k infra + then CnG does. Since we have such a numbers advantage though we can continue to deplete TOPs money and infra by spreading it over more nations causing less loss for us. Continue fighting and reps wont go away, but your only advantage will. So quite frankly - Please keep fighting. What we have offered is fair and there is no 'extortion' because we only ask to have returned what we have lost thus far in this horrible war that didn't even need to happen in the first place.
Paying reps to what CnG lost? Sure, I could understand that argument. Paying reps to everyone else because they decided to join in on a beatdown? That's not something i could agree with.
To allude to whoever posted that medical bill analogy. I'm pretty certain that TOP is willing to pay some cash to who they punched. But when the rest of their buddies at the bar decide to join in and want cash for their bloody knuckles, they can keep on walking. -

VE and Loss disbanded at one point, their treaties don't count.
LOSS has never disbanded. They've been forced into neutrality, but never disbanded.
NAAC on the other hand... -

You did have 66 nations over 100k.. its rather hard to deal with that, coupled with the other alliances, we don't have the nations to take on your upper tier that still remains.
I'm calling that one an admission of our epicness. Thanks for the compliment.
Can't say I'm happy to see this FOK. But do what you must I suppose. -
and to think I didn't like you guys before.
o/ NSO
-
Let me get this straight... you're in \m/ now... presumably you applied to TOP before joining \m/... and you imply you were in ROK prior to that... and RoK is supposed to know about your previous alliances?
Someone please help this guy out. He needs a box of kleenex.
I was thinking a helmet.

Speed bump, not a speed bump, who the hell cares. I just want to see some good old fashioned war. See ya out there guys. Lets have some fun.
-
<snip>
...I doubt that they would plan that far ahead though and forsee nukes running low within a month, not years.
You clearly don't know how bored some of us are. We've been preparing for TOPaggedon for a long time.
-
So you can become excessively paranoid, become a pin up girl for IRON, preemptively declare war on an uninvolved alliance (which if anything we should be saying thanks for, this was even and you just completely threw it in our favor, I mean really you could have hit someone involved at least, this just plain looks bad no matter what way you slice it), and, most importantly, be out of range to hit most people on the opposing side?
If we're out of range for most nations, then how do you expect us to war for 6 months? Assuming both sides know how to war (which I do assume), then each side is going to get taken down the ranks at an approximately even pace...Doesn't make much sense then does it.
-
Will you look at that, after all the angry TOP members trolling Vanguard after our decision to leave OUT you're the ones attacking us XFD
honestly this is too good. I always knew TOP were daft, I hadn't realized to what extent.
we're testing out plan 5. all our scenarios say it's true, but we wanted to try to see if 5 nations could take out the entire Optional Defense Network. I'm hoping for a pass.
-
This is going to be fun. I hope your nukes are ready MK, I have some casualty stats to collect.
-
Except we had a treaty for our war. Enjoy the bandwagon.
and we have super magic skills. So kindly go away.

I only post threads when I have something really important to say; I'm just a REALLY important person with A LOT of things to say! The thread I made that you cited up there wouldn't have been posted, but the topic I'd have added it to was locked due to... well, the subject of the thread I posted.
The other one I made was just blatant attention-whoring and mockery, I don't deny it. I don't much care -- I enjoyed it, others enjoyed it. That's what matters.
At least you can admit that you're an attention whore when you want to be :v
Anyways, I suppose it depends if you think you have a new angle to present to bob. If you think it's actually legitimate and warrants it's own thread, then I probably wouldn't mind reading it. If not, just post in a relevant thread. Problem is that people can't moderate themselves.
I miss the days of epic, in depth analysis. Doitzel's (ok, you still do yours, but I'm adding you in out of respect), New Reverie, Ejay, many more i've missed.
Can we have those threads back?

heh, DW, put this guy on your staff, I think he's on to something.
I'm looking forward to your new publication, give it your best.
that would be...a rather interesting turn of the tables XD
*EDIT*
forgot to add (it's almost 5am, need sleep), I look forward to it as well. It'll be interesting to see things from your point of view DW, and hopefully you'll have most of the facts. Nothing's ever perfect, but I'm sure you'll come as close as possible.

So let me get this straight. You take an action, designing mostly to take a jab at AirMe, yet anyone with half a brain stem has to know that this action will anger Ronin, parts of the Greenland Republic and parts of Polar (plus the various other NAACers) floating around the game.
If LOSS isn't pissed off about this, I'm pissed at LOSS.
This is not only not funny, but is incredibly stupid, even as a joke. Please for the love of God, stop. Just, stop. Or get into range of me, so I can help in making you stop.
-
Wow I've never seen so much win in 2 sentences. B)
EDIT: 4 sentences... wow I'm going to sleep. now..
I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've been complimented for a post, so I'm saying thanks. I'm giddy as a school girl now
...No, seriously, I'm not being sarcastic.
And once again, judging by the posts since I posted my original response, I stand by my original statement. Relax people.
Which alliance is the biggest MK lapdog?
