So, I was recently deleted due to using the same network as a friend of mine (we go to the same college).
I know for a fact that there is at least one more player using the network, wouldn't be surprised to find out that there are more.
Now, the thing is, the same thing happened last year (same friend who was deleted, same friend who wasn't deleted, plus one more friend who now goes to a different school). After they contested the deletion/banning, they were all restored.
Now, my question is this. While yes, we are on the same network, and yes, that is against the rules, why is it against the rules? Banning college students, or people who share a housing complex, or whatever, from playing doesn't seem to make much sense. While I had my nation I bought donations every month, as would the other friend once he was big enough. It just doesn't seem to make sense to get rid of people who do/would make donations, just because they go to the same college. Our nations NEVER interacted. My roommate needed help multiple times, and despite how much I wanted to/could have helped him, I didn't.
Had the IP addresses been identical, that would have been one thing. But just because they are similar? Doesn't seem fair. Can anyone explain this to me?
