no alliance has the resources to send messages to all of those little nations
    [/quote]

I organised a recruitment drive when in GDA and we sent messages to every unalligned in the game and it took less than an hour with only 6 of us sending the messages. Its not that time consuming to do at all.

  2. The way to 'avoid' events is to back date tax collection, thats something you should be doing at certain levels anyway - even if not improvement swapping.

It doesn't reduce the likelyhood of getting an event when you click collect taxes, it just reduces the number of times you click collect!

  3. My mind is still boggled by the rapid transition from the CN community as a whole publicly praising everything NPO does to every thread turning into a series of insults hurled at everything NPO stands for and does no matter what. It kinda creeps me out a little. Is that just me?

Not that it even matters. It's not my alliance!

Maybe people see how many people are fighting NPO and are no longer afraid of deviating from sycophancy them?

  4. It's not so much that they're chicken turds, it is a valid strategy to keep nations in peace mode, both for future attacks and for future rebuilding.

But how many rounds of war expirations will we have to wait to see these future attacks?

  5. Given enough time, no matter what nations entered peacemode, they will comprise a majority of NS. How many of those in peacemode were out in warmode fighting prior? Certainly kingdom of dark was, I saw him roll over tailsk, but he got back into peace mode after that war. You can argue about the strategies used, but to say they are "Not fighting the war" is pretty hard to sell no matter what statistics you look at.

When I checked yesterday, 17 of the top 20 had not been in the war, one slipped into peace and two were fighting.

  6. I may be mistaken but I thought the idea of protcting unalligned red nations was in exchange for their Senate Vote.. The replies at the start of this make it sound like it was done as some great anti-techraiding humanitarian cause.

  7. If you are a member of an alliance you have duties and rights. He enjoyed his rights, but he didn't fulfilled his duty to defend his mates in the alliance.

When the situation gone bad he simply left the alliance. It was good when they were on the upper side, but it was !@#$ when duties required his precious infra. If NPO, who are not saints was good for him for 2 years, it should be good for him now too. But he now he wanna attack his former alliance.

It seems to me that he wants to attack them because THEY didnt fulfil their duties to help HIM. He fought for three weeks after all, but hey - I'm only basing my opinion on what the guy has actually said.

  8. Care to explain which posts you are referring to?

Edit: To answer your question. I was getting bored of GDA. Stopped getting involved, could barely motivate to log in to get me some tech deals. I wanted a change.
