  1. Wow, the feeling is mutual! I guess thats why it is called a declaration of war ;)

As to those who would like to charge that this is a "stab in the back" I would like to remind you all, as has been mentioned a number of times, MK dropped its treaty with us... YOU GUYS didn't want to be friends anymore, remember? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want people to consider you a friend... you don't cancel a treaty which is a symbol of your friendship. I believe that is the definition of being "scorned".

So I guess in regards to your feelings about the MK treaty cancellation it's fair to say: "u mad"? If you don't want a treaty to be canceled you could try not being a failure as an alliance, or I don't know, communicate with us a little?

  2. Thats what it comes down to, semantics are everything.

    Hmmm...

What other time in Polar history did semantics mean so much. July. Sometime around the 4th of July. Something about hell and freezing.

I think at this time it is not appropriate for NpO to be talking semantics.

  3. Not really. The other wars were in situations were they believed themselves to be going in with an advantage, whether that proved true or not. In the Karma War the initial stage was not so certain and the stigma against taking on the big bad NPO was strong. It took quite a bit to build up to that point.

I didn't state that MK had never fought in a war. Please read what is stated.

Yeah like in the NoCB war. We were utterly SHOCKED to see that the side we chose was vastly outnumbered.

    EDIT: F U babyj

  4. Come back in a week and tell him he was wrong.

The class of people certain allies of ours are gravitating to makes the decision where we go that much easier. It's heartbreaking to see some of our best friends being pulled along like puppets on a string, especially when they have the scissors to cut the strings.

  5. Indeed.

That is why they declared on Polar and bypassed us completely just a few minutes ago.

I fully expect, just as most of my alliance does, to take a beating in this war. But I don't care, because I know that those on the other side will take a beating as well, and I like our odds for being on the "side" that takes less of one overall.

The NSO is not full of stat collectors that feel the need to treaty everyone in the Cyberverse in order to prevent any damage to our precious infrastructure. We will burn, but we will not burn alone.

I'm not referring to your alliance's resolve to fight but rather it's ability. Also MK on NSO would be a huge waste.

  6. CnG alliances with treaties with STA or Polaris won't fight them, sure. But will Athens and FoB turn tail now Grub's come calling? I suppose it's a question of whether they'd come in on an optional aggression clause. Either way, I've doubt Polar allies like MK are too pleased about Grub's actions, and thus he's cutting at his own power base. :(

If you declare war on one member of CnG you declare on it in it's entirety. I think we've been pretty clear on that from the beginning.

  7. Disrespectful and vulgar behavior has consequences. Maybe this matter will convince some of that, or at least compel them to be more respectful in the future. I am sick and tired of the OWF being a cesspit of trolling and assorted crudity. These days, intelligent debate is trolled and degraded rather than encouraged. That needs to change; and those who involve themselves in such behavior need to consider becoming more constructive in dialogue.
Kind of like a more friendly Shark Week? I'm down.
