This was all a misunderstanding. I have completely rewritten it. Again, I was not trying to be disrespectful, and Kudos to a well written charter. Hopefully the newly written version should be more acceptable.

As I responded to a pm from Defeat, I did take your charter and base my own off of it. I am not trying to be an asshat, but I am really simply trying to take an excellent charter and mold it to my own new alliance. Is there anyway I can edit it, without having to rewrite it all. Perhaps giving the original author credit. Again, I am not attempting to be rude or disrespectful. I simply like the style of your charter and thought I could edit.

The Aeon Illuminate The Foundation Document of the Aeon Illuminate serves as the Founding Charter of our alliance. The Foundation Document must be followed by all members of the Aeon Illuminate. The Illuminate is a beacon for Peace, Justice, and Technology, that works to defend its bretheren. The Aeon Illuminate makes it's home in the Green Trading Sphere. Membership and Admission The Aeon Illuminate accepts nations of any strength range. We particularly take in the new, and the weak, so as to protect and build their nations. To join and become a member of the Aeon Illuminate, you must visit the Member Sign-Up section of our forums. Follow the application process that is explained there. Members of the Aeon Illuminate are expected to remain active, follow all rules of the charter and to take poart in all aide schemes and programs. They are also required to work diligently in the defense of peace within our realms. Government The Evaluator The Evaluator holds the highest power within the Aeon Illuminate. A Hereditary title passed down only when the current Evaluator sees fit. The Evaluator is responsible for setting the Policy, Course and Direction of the entire alliance, and delegating tasks for certain Government Areas. He is the only one authorized to speak on behalf of the Aeon Illuminate in all press releases and he is the only Government official that can announce a declaration of War or Peace. The Overseer The Overseer is the Vice Monarch, and helps the Evaluator perform the various duties that occur from day to day. He is also allowed to set policy and agenda, but only after conferring with the Evaluator. The Councilors Councilors serve as Heads of departments and sectors. The areas in which they govern are under their control and they are given a wide range of power to oversee that sector as they see fit. Councilors are elected once a month. The Crusader The General of the Aeon Royal Forces (ARF), the sole defense force that protects the Aeon Illuminate, is lead by the Crusader. The Crusader retains the sole power to introduce policy for the military, and can make or change the Military structure, training program, as he sees fit. He is the only one that can recommend wars or peace to the Evaluator. The Herald The Herald, is the Chief Diplomat of the Aeon Illuminate, is responsible for all foreign affairs matters concerning the Illuminate. The Herald is charge with the effort of working diligently to promote peace, and justice in the CyberVerse. He or she cannot solely eliminate relations with an alliance without consulting the Evaluator. The Reaper The Reaper controls the coffers of the Aeon Illuminate. He or She is allowed to appoint any staff that may help the Reaper in his task with distributing Economic Assistance. The Confessor The Confessor runs, and maintains the Aeon Learning Complex, which is the central library for all of the Illuminate's new and veteran members. The Harbinger The Harbinger is the guide and tutour of the Aeon Illuminate. His task is to work tirelessly to recruit and expand the membership of the Aeon Illuminate, and also to ensure the safety and well being of all members. He has the ability to appoint volunteer recruiters to assist him in this task. Elections Elections for The Councilors take place once a month, therefore once elected, each Councilor serves the Illuminate through a one-month term. The election process, which begins four days before the end of each month, and the elections last for 48 Hours. In order for a Councilor to be added to the roll, he must be nominated and seconded. In order for a Councilor to be elected to office, he must achieve a Majority vote. In the case of a deadlock, The Evaluator retains the tie breaking vote.
