Unfortunately, I was trying to destroy a nuke at the time and it caused my alliance mate to get nuked because of it :/

Well this is going to be an interesting round.... Usually there are a limited number of nations who skyrocket to the top 5% and in the first alliance wars of any round use those nukes. Now nations will have to rethink their strategy probably giving our first round of wars without nukes! Lets give a warm welcome to a cleaner planet...at least for 1 war! haha :P

Bottom line, nukes are pointless, its just a way to bring a nation down. I believe that fighting a nation head on whether it be ground, air or navy is a way to go! Spy on the darned nation, but nuking...ehh!

I disagree, though only because high tier fighting kind of requires nukes :P

If we didn't have them, there'd be no way to destroy a nation's stuff without taking an extremely long time.

I wasn't here for any of this, but I agree that low-stakes games are no fun. I'll be interested to see if anything higher stakes pops up again.

It's my job to make sure VE doesn't lose those high stakes games, though :P

[Why are spy odds so strange/bad?]

I've seen that in the index as well, but it never really makes mention of the odds displayed so I assumed it was either approximated or the actual odds were rounded.

Are spy odds legitimately only done in percentages of 10, 30, 50, 70 and 90? Because if so, that sounds horribly ineffective (both having to round odds up/down and having nations that are significantly more powerful than others only at 50 or 70 percent)

 

Or are the percentages not actually rounded to those numbers, and we only get rough estimates of what our actual odds are? If so, that would sort of make sense but it also sounds a bit strange to do.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Della Luna (and the others we fought) for putting up a hell of a fight.

Especially big ups to Sylvia Midnight, who fought me up to the #1 destruction slot in the world.

Also a good job to Such Nation, getting us up to #15 destruction. :)

Dang. I swapped nukes with Tito a few months ago, the guy was pretty cool about it and a good fighter. Rest In Peace man, this sucks :/
