    There comes a time when you are leading an alliance where you need to think, "Is this the best we can be?" and "Is there something more we can do?" That happened recently within The College of Winterhold. You see, we gained protection from Death Before Dishonor because ever since I (Apollo) came to Cybernations, years ago, Aryan and Wifey have been my friends, my family. I could always turn to them for anything. However, our alliances are completely different, different sphere, different strategies, and we decided the best way to advance was to say our goodbyes. Our personal ties with Death Before Dishonor made this move an extremely difficult one.

    The College of Winterhold has decided not to drop, but to simply, release and upgrade our protection with Death Before Dishonor to a PIAT. The College of Winterhold will then make it's journey to it's White Sphere brothers and sisters for friendships, better economic advantages, and it's future!

    All of us at TCW would like to thank DB4D for everything they have helped us with and all the protection they gave as well, we would not be here and would not be as successful as we are today without your help, thank you so much! /O

    I now welcome you to read our PIAT.

    Exactly, I've been a leader of a few alliances and been in alliances that had protectorates...not one time did we have a continuous embassy relationship with them. Like most things, you build up a relationship to get what you want, i.e a treaty or protection, after you have that...communication dies down a bit. With protection, they don't need to be up in your biz every minute of the day, you are a separate entity....

    My statement...clearly there can be a lot of miscommunication, maybe you do not see eye to eye....fact of the matter is. If GPF was a professional alliance, in a circumstance such as this they would not be coming on here and flaming RoK about this. I know next to nothing about RoK, but I say Congratulations to them for dropping some much needed dead weight. Yes, I've had a public issue with Evella...a lot of people know that, I clearly cannot be in the same room with her, did I act professional? Of course not, when someone talks negatively of my members and alliance, things will be said...it is what it is.

    ....but this is a poor show on GPF's part.

    Let's hope you didn't join an alliance yet....

    I suggest checking out The College of Winterhold. I hear their leader is pretty great and what they stand for is too.

    I'm looking to have experience in TCW, yea new members are welcome!!! However, having a membership with experience, some or a lot, adds prestige to the alliance and makes the community that much better.

    We got what you need to grow, we specialize in repairing "arrows to the knee" and we have your fill of mead and sweet rolls!

    Great Post Crazy ^^

    You are right, we do have a great membership and an active one at that who knows how to act within the alliance and in front of other alliances, especially in public places. ;)

    Here in Cybernations, a lot of alliances look at Stats constantly. "Look at how big we are now...oh no our 60K nation just dropped us soooo low.....yay we are getting two 50k nations" Honestly, who cares? I have led 3 alliances, and in each of them I have always thought growing was about "growth" but when in reality in order to have positive growth you need to create a great community, that is what we have in The College of Winterhold. Active Members, Active IRC, Active Gov....what more could you ask for? OHH Trades, Aid, Education?? Yup, we got that too.


    We have just started our own recruitment competition, win some $$ win some other great awards!
