  1. Didn't expect to see my name up there... thanks. I appreciate it.

I'll be the first to admit that you could get under collective government skin at RoK, but hey, can't fault a guy for trying. Best of luck in RL and whatever, and we'll all still be here when you decide to come back.

We had our disagreements, but overall I understand what you did and while I disagree I do not hold it personally. I joined RoK at a different time, I was like 16 when I joined. I learned a lot from getting under your skin though :)

  2. Well I have decided my time in Cybernations has come to an end. I do not have and bitter or angry reasons for leaving I just have other things to do. Cybernations has great potential if we allowed it to go back to what it is, that is a a game. Anyhow I don't have anything extravegant to say so here are my goodbyes and thank yous:

Ragnarok: Definitely one of the alliances I am most proud of being in, they stick to their guns even when the world doesn't like that. Respect +10 for them.

Kaskus: My favorite international alliance I would say. A good group of people, and they have bigger balls then any other alliance out there right now.

NADC: Another great group, I was never a member but I am glad to say I have made many friendships there. They get a lot of shit but they really are a classy bunch.

And a list of people that were great and/or helped me along the way:

  3. Gregor Vidock heard that the Sumtarans did not believe the sory which was given to them about the POW's. Vidock had to think long and hard, whether to abandon the camp or stay and fight a huge army. To many the answer seemed simple, but not to Gregor Vidock. He saw a oppurtunity to overtake a country which had rule for a long time.

He continued to think. If the stance failed, his soldiers slaughtered(Which would be incredibly hypocritical of you) and the ones caught he knew would be tortured no matter what the Sumatrans said.

*OOC: A state is a protectorate.

    A short response was given:

You violated our agreement, we will not fund your paramilitary regime in its efforts to kill innocent people and lie to the Sumatran government. You have 15 hours to leave the base that was originally inhabited by our soldiers or you will be removed. We did not come here to fight in your politics, we came here to offer aid to the civilian population against them. We will not make a deal with you, we will not give you anything, you will leave or you will be removed. - Sumatra RDF command
  4. **Update classified**

The Sumatran RDF issued a warning and an ultimatum to the Dark Mark government to give over the prisoners that were captured during a Sumatran engagement and to leave the base inhabitted by the Sumatran soldiers and doctors. In response they have sent a laughable lie about a false gas explosion when multiple gunshots were heard and prisoners taken away from Sumatran hands. Not only have they lied to us and killed Sumatran POWs, but they have now threatened to remove our soldiers forcefully on pain of death. The president on his way to Selenarctos was informed on the situation using a secure communication line.

The Sumatran troops in charge of recovering the POWs were ordered to take back the POWs they currently have in their custody and to bring back the military assets. The government had all of the proof it needed and the attack on the POWs was considered an attack on Sumatra. A message was sent to the Dark Mark military outlining that they had another 24 hours to leave the base or that they would be forced out by Sumatran troops, any attack on a Sumatran soldier during this will be an act of war and will be acted upon accordingly.

Message to the Selenarctos command in the area

From the General in command of the RDF

    Class: Urgent encrypted

**Our relationship with the Dark Mark troops recently has decreased to a point of extreme hostility to the point where they are killing their population without trial for nothing more than being in a village. This is a violation of human rights, the highest violation in Sumatran law which normally we would not respond to with anything more than an embargo. Unfortunately they performed these acts against a contract with Sumatra using Sumatran equipment. Not only this but upon our public ultimatum they have lied and killed more untried civilians and threatened our military with force. We are trying all avenues possible to prevent it breaking out into a firefight, but currently the situation is grim. This is a notice to your government as we recognize the area under your sphere of influence, and will let you know that this is a promise we will not claim territory in the area as a result.**

  5. OOC: Apologies for the wait, I have been playing EVE :P

    IC:

President Hadiman was excited to go to his first diplomatic meeting since the election. The nation of Selenarctos was a top choice for the foreign ministry which is why the president him self would go. On his way he was briefed on the situation in the Dark Mark and the actions of the paramilitary group claiming ownership over the nation. He ordered the group be recognized as human rights violators for the murders in the terrorist compound and for the murder on the Sumatran F.O.B not too long ago. On the plane he decided to bring it up at the meeting with Selenarctos. After his arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport he would make his way to the representative and shook his hand "Good evening, I am glad we can finally have this meeting."

  6. The soldier was shocked and at first had no idea how to react, he snapped out of it a few seconds later and rushed to the aid of the man that came from the bush. The man was dead, it was too late to save him at that point. The angered soldier ordered the Dark Mark troops to step away and a group of four Sumatran RDF troops stepped in and grabbed the man up to take to the medical center to be identified. A group of 5 men rushed to the gate and closed it so as to not let the Dark Mark in. A message was sent via the urgent communications line all the way to the Dark Mark HQ.

    URGENT SECURE DISPATCH:

YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND COMMITTING A VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON SUMATRAN TERRITORY (EASTERN F.O.B DARK MARK). SUMATRA CAME TO THE AID OF YOUR POPULATION AND MILITARY TO END THE STATE OF ANARCHY IN YOUR COUNTRY AND REINSTATE PEACE. ALL SUMATRAN FOOD, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, AND AMMO WITH WEAPONS WILL BE REPOSESED BY SUMATRAN MILITARY, ANY RESISTANCE TO THE REPOSSESSION OF SUMATRAN ASSETS WILL BE MET WITH EQUAL FORCE NOT EXCLUDING ARMED COMBAT. TERRORISTS CAPTURED IN THE SUMATRAN AIR RAID WILL BE PUT IN SUMATRAN CUSTODY AND TRIED UNDER SUMATRAN LAW. END DISPATCH.

The RDF has a policy of not engaging in offensive war with any nation, the human rights violations in the area of Western Dark Mark using Sumatran aid and committed on Sumatran areas of operation was considered a violation of the agreement made between the nation of Sumatra and the groups in the Dark Mark. As such all assets under the Sumatran flag pulled back to only helping the civilians in the area and not taking any direct effect on the military engagements in the area. The removal of the prisoners and assets however is predicted to have backlash from the Dark Mark military and as such the military readiness of Sumatra would be increased to DEFCON 3. A statement was made to those it concerned on the situation.

~~Official statement from the Republican Defense Force of Sumatra and Borneo~~

"The situation in the area of Dark Mark is indeed disheartening and it has gone to the point where atrocities have been committed by both sides. The Sumatran peacekeepers in the area that were deployed to defend the military and humanitarian aid centers from looters and terrorist groups have witnessed these atrocities first hand. Unfortunately we can not turn back the clock on our aid to the Dark Mark military but we have taken these steps to prevent it happening again."

    • All security forces under the Sumatran flag will withdraw to the F.O.B
    • All assets given under the Sumatran flag to the Dark Mark group, including medical, food, military, and logistical supplies are ordered to be returned.
    • All terrorist POWs captured during this period will be transfered to Sumatran RDF bases to be tried under the laws of human rights.
    • All Dark Mark troops will remove them selves from Sumatran encampments and will not be allowed within 5 miles.
    • Dark Mark resistance to these actions will be met with equal force.

Humanitarian aid from this point on will continue in efforts to make the civilians lives more comfortable in this unfortunate state of anarchy. The Dark Mark has 48 hours to meet these requirements or Sumatran assets will be removed by force to avoid more deaths and misuse of Sumatran Material in voilation of the original contract.

    ~President Hadiman

  8. The Sumatran troops and doctors prepared to recieve the wounded Sumatran pilots, as well as Dark Mark troops and POWs. The Sumatran Army was put on standing orders to only attack when attacked or when innocents were under attack, preparations were made for a possible terrorist reaction. RDF troops were on full alert upon receiving the wounded men and women from the attack on the complex. A letter was sent to the Dark Mark commander regarding diplomatic situations in the war.

To the commander in charge of the Dark Mark military
Recently we have aided you in this war by means of arms and ammunition. I am sorry to tell you that we will no longer be sending this aid due to current political situations. We will be staying to offer medical aid and humanitarian aid to the population and whoever needs it. We will turn over any terrorists that seek medical aid to you so long as you treat them as proper prisoners of war and they maintain their human rights. We will monitor the situation from a temporary installation separate but attached to your military installation. We will defend our installation, any civilians, or any doctors by any means necessary. Whatever happens we hope that this will end peacefully with as little loss of life as possible.  -General Agusalim {Commander in charge of Dark Mark operations)
  9. The people of Sumatra still hold Selenarctos to a high regard even after the declaration of independence. The people favored them most of all because of their willingness to allow them a democratic election and to declare independence without any issues. An overwhelming petition was sent to the capital to establish an official relationship with Selenarctos. After the petition and a government vote president Hadiman sent a message to president Hygin Romero.

~From the desk of the president~

Mr. President, our people have spoken in favor of your nation in overwhelming numbers wishing for official relations since Freedom Day not too long ago. We wish to open talks on open trade and peace in the near future. If you are willing to begin talks I will personally fly to your capital as soon as possible so we can hammer out some sort of agreement between our people in these times of freedom and democracy.

    ~Sincerely President Hadiman

  10. A secret reply was sent back

We understand that you are not on good terms with the Dark Mark government, we have given them arms already in this conflict. We initially came here to defend civilians and doctors, we are not interested in a war. No more equipment or troops will be sent into Dark Mark as it was not our intended goal in the first place. Our one and only mission is to stop this terrorist group killing innocent civilians and oppressing peoples rights. What happens in the Dark Mark afterwards has nothing to do with us..

  11. "Though we appreciate that the Caucasus is interested in the peoples will we stress that it is in fact the decision of the people of Dark Mark which government they elect Perhaps the interests of a South eastern Pacific nation should stay in the south eastern Pacific. We agree that an elected government should take over, but perhaps it should be someone more local to decide If it is the will of the people. Being a nation with a communist party in power Sumatra holds nothing against communism unless said communism is against the will of the people."

    OOC:typed on horrible phone
Since Riddle used my troops for his attack I am going to talk to him about it. So I am freezing that portion at least until we reach an agreement.

  12. A reply was sent to the military in Dark Mark

"The policy of the Republic of Sumatra regarding foreign aid of militaries is that they need to be monitored at all times by RDF troops. We are willing to send weapons and rounds as well but they need to be controlled by Sumatran troops until your men need them. It is not that we do not trust you, but many nations in the past have felt the pain of arming foreign troops. We are planning on shipping over 500 more RDF troops with the bullets for more security now that we know the enemy is funded well."

The Sumatran air force pilots were ready for this, after training for months they have come to this time when they were to show their worth. The pilots jumped into their planes and began to repel off the enemy air craft.

(OOC:from here on Riddle RPs my pilots)

  13. Private reply to the Dark Mark troops:

I am glad that our assistance has come to good use, currently our air force is not very large as it is still under production. We can send 5 F-16 multi-roll fighters and two Tu-160 air craft for the time being. We are able to provide some surveillance drones to cover around our base of operations and for the search of terrorist encampments. Our only request is (for technological reasons) Sumatran soldiers control the Sumatran equipment. Our prayers go out to your nation in this dark time, we hope that peace and democracy may reign again in Dark Mark.

  14. Operation Neighborly Aid:

    159439702.jpg

Upon inspection into the situation the government of the Republic of Sumatra has deemed the Dark Mark in danger. Being in such close proximity to one of the republics main islands Borneo a response became apparently necessary to prevent crime to spill over. The congress and department of defense had an emergency meeting to discuss the situation and make a decision on what to do to guarantee the safety of the people of Borneo and to guarantee the safety of the innocents in the Dark Mark from terrorists and criminals. The decision was made that no military action would be made, but as a humanitarian effort a team of doctors and medical staff would be deployed with a small military regiment (for security purposes) and some food and medical supplies to help civilians in the Dark Mark.

The deployments made to the Dark Mark (classified):

    - 200 doctors and medical staff

    - 500 troops (RDF security forces)

    - 3 boats of food and medical supplies

    - 15 Chinook helicopters (for transporting and evacuation of injured)

    - 2 boats of logistical supplies

The standing order for the doctors is to help anybody that requires medical attention regardless of their affiliation, race, creed, or nation. The troops are not to fire on anybody unless engaged by an enemy or if the medical staff or patients are attacked. The humanitarian effort may halt under the following situations: Civilian dislike of the forces there, Dark Mark becomes stable again, or congress decides it is time to leave.

An announcement was made on SNN news following the deployment:

"Today we the people of the Republic of Sumatra come together to help the nation of Dark Mark in these times of need. As I speak to you humanitarian aid is being sent to the nation in anarchy to help those in need in the nation. Medical and food supplies have been sent to Dark Mark to help those that have been injured or those that simply don't have the means to go alone in these dark times. This is not an occupation, we are not claiming territory, we are simply helping those in need and will leave when they can help them selves or someone that can help them takes control. A message was broadcast in the nation of Dark Mark to the areas that still have power to tell them of the aid coming. A small security team will be deployed with the doctors sent to assure the doctors and patients are safe. Though this is a small gesture we feel it is necessary to help our neighbors in their time of need." ~From the desk of president Hadiman.
