    A Bit About Us

    We are a relatively young alliance having officially founded on the 10th of January, 2013. However, do not judge us based upon how new our alliance is, but on the quality of our members. We are lead by an elected Triumvirate currently consisting of AsianLeader of AsianLand, Jack Whiterstein of Gyuard, and nomdeplume of namidia. Together, they combine for over 4,600 days of playing experience! So, if you decide to join our alliance, rest assured that your nation's protection and growth are in the capable hands of our alliance's leadership.

    What do we offer?

    We offer to new members a lucrative aid package that should help grow your nation in the first few days after joining the alliance. Newer nations will need to go through our Academy and pass a test to get their aid package, while older nations may be exempted from doing this and given the aid package right away. To nations new and old, we do have a guides section that cover many areas of CN that you may browse. Along with this, we offer the standard protection from being raided that most other alliances have to offer.

    Like I said above, our Triumvirate is elected democratically therefore giving any member meeting the requirements the chance to help lead our alliance. Each triumvir is elected to a three month term with staggered elections making it where one position is up for election at any given time. If you do not feel ready to lead the alliance, you can always help by becoming an assistant to a triumvir in their particular area to help gain experience to one day run the alliance.   6. Looking for a New Alliance

    Hey everyone,

    With the disbanding of The Resistance, I'm searching for another alliance. I'll list a few of my stats/ accomplishments below and any recruiters can message me in game using the nation link in my sig. Big and small alliances are welcome to send me their info. I usually like being part of smaller, tight-knit alliances but I won't hold this against any larger alliances that decide to send me a message. I've developed more into a banking nation but would like to get some stable tech deals going to help even me out. My only major requirement is that I am allowed to stay on the black sphere due to my established, long term trade circle. I'll probably wait till the end of the week to see who sends me messages before making my final decision. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to your messages!

    Well, we did it. MERC has been around for THREE whole years! We’ve overcome obstacles, fought in a war, and made some great friends over the past three years. I would first like to thank my second-in-command porkpotpie for all the hard work he has done over those three years helping keep the alliance running on the foreign front. I would like to thank our friends over at Athens and NOIR for having our back through many of those years. And, I would like to say that I hope we can stick around for a few more years. Here are some of the milestones we’ve achieved:
    Total alliance strength of 136,000
    50 Nukes
    2 nations over 50,000 NS

    While watching the news one night, we heard and saw all the things happening across Planet Bob these days. We saw injured soldiers, destroyed tanks, crashed fighters, and bombed out infrastructure. The broadcaster then came on and gave us an address to send our checks to help send aid to those in need. So, we sat down and just as we started writing our checks a newsflash came onto the screen. It seems that the war had spread into the NOIRborhood.

    We continued to listen and watch until we found that one of our friends, Icarus, had his house attacked. Well, this was the last straw. We instead wrote our checks to the ACME Weapons Co. and ten to twenty minutes later we were in business.

    To summarize, MERC is hereby in a state of war with the Quantum. May it be a clean fight and good luck!

    Official Announcement from MERC

    It is with pride and great honor to announce that today MERC is one year old. This has been one wild year for us. However, we have pulled through and there are a few people I would like to thank for helping us make it this far. First and foremost are the members of MERC, without them we would be nothing. Second would be our great protector, Element (now The Dark Evolution). I would like to thank them for allowing the treaty to role over when they merged. Last but not least, I would like to thank all the nations and alliances of Planet Bob for not attacking us. It was greatly appreciated. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and to have a good day.

  23. Seeking an alliance

    You could always come over to MERC. We are a small group who have been here for about a year. We don't really care about team color, but we ask those with no long term trades to switch to black since we signed NOIR. Overall, we are a great group that helps out eachother in order for the alliance to succeed. If you have any questions then i would be glad to answer them.
