Good blitz on us and stuff. I like you guys and the war is mucho fun already :D
I was looking at the stats before the dow was posted and was wondering whether Cit, War doves, or the avengers was gonna declare first.
Always good fighting you guys so I'll root for you.
o/I had target lists made for both Citadel and Avengers so we were going to toss a coin and then Citadel made it easier by knocking on our door.

I am sick for a few weeks and come back to too many threads full of E-peen measuring and baseless accusations. Before I make the decision to avoid all this rubbish from now on I would like to address this quote.

Couple War Doves nations decide to unbalance things a bit and I have to ask......Why?

I think you'll find that even though those nations were in War Doves last round and rounds previous to that, this round they were in Alpha Wolves before joining Defcon 1 and have had no communication with myself or other War Doves government. A simple check of their war screens shows that they were in Alpha Wolves and never in War Doves. Their team colour being white and not green also kind of leans to that too. So to answer your question we didn't feel the need to go there and there is nothing for you to get. Sorry to point out that you were wrong.

With this I do know of a few scenarios where our members have had to launch blockades in order to remove those set on them - none of our members had brought navies prior to this and have only done so to avoid the penalties we've received from others.
Again not entirely correct I'm afraid as I was blockaded by Adamah yesterday and had to buy a navy to do just what you said.

Just curious though... For a friendly war how come this has happened?
I know we've had continued IRS / destroy money ops from whoever was doing them anyway since the war started but this was exposed as being from you guys? Who professed that we wouldn't be doing any dirty spy ops? Should we expect this to continue?

Respond to? Your guys are doing those attacks to us and I believe Samwise was also the one responding to such attacks. I have had destroy money ops and have only responded with gather intel so perhaps you should tell your guys that they shouldn't be doing those ops first before you threaten to "respond"

Hi there. War Doves are back for another exciting round of blowing things up and would love you to blow things up with us :D pew pew pew!
At the present time though our forum is being hit with a rather large DDoS attack which has now gone on for the past few days so we're currently unable to process applications.
I can't imagine why anyone would want to hit War Doves forum with such an attack but it is bloody annoying. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Answer exactly how limiting numbers in an alliance is going to bring in new members.
I can tell you now I wont play if it happens. If you want more members in the game recruit people from your SE alliance don't limit the people who enjoy playing together in other alliances just because you don't like that they're so big.

What you're suggesting is ridiculous. I don't want to run an 18 member AA on my own, I tried that with Rat Basterds and it was a real ball ache which is why I now work with my friends in War Doves. In my opinion limiting numbers of members in game just makes no sense as it wont provide any extra challenge or spice up the game you'll just end up with several AA's all working under one banner. It wont increase membership and people who lead now will still lead then. I just see no point to it and lets be honest if Skaro had 40-50 members still you wouldn't be suggesting it.

You may say The Avengers DoWing those already at war is becoming a patern. I would argue that the strongest AAs dodging us the day before our planned war date is becoming a patern.
Did D1 and Citadel, or the other AA's you hit while at war know that your plan was to declare on them the very next day after they declared on each other? If they were aware of this then your argument would be valid. If by chance they weren't privy to your plans then surely they're entitled to declare wars of their own choosing?
I have an idea, why don't Avengers split civil war style. Iron mans group vs Captain America's group. It's obviously the best challenge you guys can have at this stage of the round and if that's really what you're after then I can't think of many other ways you're going to get it. Either way casualties for the casualty gods. Have fun everyone :)

I don't know about Misfits but I do know that NloN actually declared on the Romans without a DoW not the other way around and War Doves were on a joint war with OP. We assumed they were going to post a DoW and by the time we realised there wasn't one we were already discussing peace with Krabz because they weren't ready to fight at the present time so a DoW then would have been pointless.
