  1. Ehn.. Hm. To be completely honest, some days I'm not sure why I play myself. Now though, I would say that a great part of it is due in part because of the community of the alliance I'm in, and of how long I've been a member. Simply up and leaving would be putting the time I invested in the community there to waste.

The intra-alliance politics are greatly amusing as well, but I find it's the people who keep me back.

  2. So you're saying what was the status quo "back in the day" was acceptable? Karma is fighting to create a new standard. These reps are essentially is reverting to what was once common "back in the day".

    No, not entirely.

Some of Karma is, some of it isn't. And I can guarantee you that most of the part of it that created these reparations isn't. The people screaming hypocrisy over these terms seem to forget that Karma is a loose wartime coalition of alliances that joined in for different reasons. Despite what the public opinion of the coalition has turned into, this has not changed.

  3. I don't give a damm who's driving. Karma needs to give up any claims to being better, higher, or more moral than the Hegemony side of this war. These harsh unwarranted terms have just ground that pretense into dust.

I expected harsh terms for the NPO, and wasn't disappointed. Eternal war is harsh as you can get. However Echelon doesn't deserve this crap for nothing more than honouring a treaty and entering a war to defend an ally.

You'll find the majority of people who support these terms never claimed the moral high ground. However, the outspoken alliances who did were enough for people to paint the entire coalition as so, which was misguided.

  4. To Kalach Cha: Please, if you're reading this, log in. After the first wave of attacks, you haven't seemed to log in at all, and I don't like attacking someone who isn't on. Especially in a war of this caliber.

To ace072199: You scared me. In fact, you still do, having two times my tech - which makes your attacks absolutely devastating. I wish I could've talked to you more, but the war's not over yet. ;)

To BacTalan: Are you enjoying nuking me every day? :v: It was nice to get to talk to you early on, I'm afraid I got a bit busy after that and haven't been able to recently.

To all three of my attackers: Despite my nation's age, this is really my first war involving more than two attackers at the same time, not to mention being a fully fledged nuclear war... This, undecidedly, has made the experience thus far very interesting... and I'll admit, I'm enjoying this period more than the whole time I spent nation building. I'm already down 1.8K infra, how low can it go? :awesome:

  5. This has also happened to me. I max deployed to hit someone, and then when I went to attack after nuking, my troops were brought back home, with no new messages sent to me.
