  1. Wes, you are being ridiculous. Hitting an MD ally of an OD ally might not be absolutely ideal, but it isn't immoral. CCC did the exact same thing to NATO last war. You're better than this, so please stop it.

There's a distinction between an awkward situation arising mid-war purely down to the treaty chains, and one where NPO essentially forces us to act because they attack our blocmate without any CB -- and then ODN proceeds to counter us in return. Whilst there's no bitter feelings on our part, I do wonder how TTK and STA feel about this.

Anyway, see you on the battlefield. o/

  2.

You guys paid them at the end of the war   :gun:

i.e you caved into our terms since we payed all we were going to pay...  :smug:

Wasn't that two and a half years ago? When I was in Umbrella? What do you think my opinion of NG's upper gov was at that time?

e: They've also signed (and cancelled) a treaty in that time so you think any grudges would be gone. You would also note that they threw in a soldier and tech, probably just to one-up NG.

Funnily enough we were probably closer to them back then in comparison to now.

Anyway congrats on your surrender NoR and NG.

  3. I look forward to you holding by TOP's side next war come hell or high water.  And lol at bolded part.  You had over 3 months notice for this war, we both know that and you are more than happy to put your FA and DoW'ing in TOP's hands.

I am not talking about the war as a whole. I am talking about the fronts that UPN was requested to go in on. Going in on NG was never a part of the plan, and we were assigned to TLR from the get go, for whom we prepared for. There was a change of plan, and we mobilised to hit NG in 24 hours... so yes it was short notice.

As for our commitment to our allies, you would think that after several years of burning for Polaris, and several failed attempts by your own alliance to get us to switch sides would make it clear that we don't abandon our friends, no matter who they may be or what position they find themselves in. But sure, keep spinning away...  :awesome:

  4. Edit:  Actually, my favourite part is how UPN let Legion get stomped on for months without intervening, but R&R declares war on TOP and UPN is on that like white on rice, within what, a day?

    Our allies do take precedence.

Not entirely sure what your point is, or why you decided to use us as an example. But our position was made clear from the get go, that if any of our allies request us to enter, we will -- be it on short notice or on a front we didn't particularly look forward to being on. Forgive us for reacting quickly to such a request.

Anyway, without further detracting from the thread. Congrats to all of the combatants on finally reaching peace.

  5. I'm not making the argument that we're the target. The target is NSO NG NPO God only knows, but it's not US.   :smug:

If you recognise that you aren't the target, then fair play. However some people said the opposite.

I was merely making sure you didn't cast away Alex's argument as nonsense, considering your coalition directed a lot of forces fighting on the main front to our outlying front. Even you admitted to seeing the disconnect there.

That's a logical fallacy. You can't argue against me when I have the required information to cast a valid judgement, and you don't. Yes I see the logic behind what Alex said, but it still doesn't change the fact that his conclusion is wrong. You can't expect me to give the specifics at this point in time, but they will become clear as the war unfolds.

The point is that no matter which alliance was in your position, they would of been treated the same -- if not even countered more effectively. Because let's face it, we're hardly piling on all of the resources possible solely on you, which we could do.

Anyway I will be bowing out of this slugfest. If it makes you feel more important to think that this war has suddenly took a turn and become about you, then it's all good.

PS: Still waiting for that counter.  :awesome:

  6.

I'm pretty sure we're on the same page in that respect. >_>

So if we're on the same page, and you agree that TOP/Umb oA'ing in was purely strategical, and having nothing to do with the fact that the target is Plan B, what do you keep arguing about?
