    [size="4"][font="Arial Black"] On Friday the 4th of February, the military forces of Mvarity dealt the a deathblow to the nation of PANADOL of Athens. Fully reduced to a smoldering ember, the ZI of PANADOL is a welcome and expected victory for the military forces of the 57th. What at first was a hard fought campaign against PANADOL, quickly turned into a competition between the forces of Mvarity and United Squirrels. With a barrel of rum and the honour of being the first member of the 57th to ZI another nation on the line, the stakes were high. In the end, it was Mitch, commanding the Mvarity forces, that took the honour of sending PANADOL into ZI. As the citizens flee the shattered nation of PANADOL, the 57th opens its borders to offer refuge to these displaced citizens and the citizens of any other nation that wishes to surrender. With this victory, the 57th Overlanders have gone some ways towards proving that the government of Athens have seriously erred in declaring war on the 57th Overlanders. Some of these nations have no hope of victory and their surrender will prevent further destruction, saving themselves the pain caused by Athens commands' serious misjudgment. Many nations have already secretly contacted us requesting information on surrender terms which only goes to show the plight the normal Athens nation feels.

    The 57th Overlanders openly invite any nation flying the Athens flag which desire peace to contact Roosterton to request terms. The government of Athens have gone far to brag about the power of their alliance and the deep strategic thought that went into picking on a series of smaller alliances. With the results of the war to date and this ZI, I believe that the 57th Overlanders have proven this talk to be pure falsehoods and the stuff of fairytales.

    Today we have met Athens, and in spite of her numerical superiority, her larger economic and military base and the best efforts of their nations, they have more than meet their match in the 13 brave men armed with nought but their balls, and some bayonets.

    Yes, sadly we will accept this payment. Unfortunately, due to the effectiveness of our military campaign, Athens is not able to produce 20k tech. We will accept a lesser amount due to Athens disbanding. :smug:

    I'm terribly sorry. You seem to be operating under the assumption that we will surrender to you. If you want to surrender to us we would be more than willing to discuss terms. I'm sure any possible reparations could eventually be evolved into Tech deals since we have burned so much of it to the ground. While I can not speak for the alliance as a whole I would not mind helping rebuild some of your 51 out of 89 wartime nations in anarchy.

    You know, here I am putting hard work into these things and I don't get a peep from the lot of ye? Not even offers for me to make you some of these banner type things? I am seriously offended by the lack of offense in this thread. :mad:
