RECRUITMENT: OPEN CONTRACTING: CLOSED Preamble Protecting those who defend their freedom. Article I: Purpose In this everyday changing World we find more and more tech raiding operations and/or petty wars. No Nation is safe without a protectorate from this everyday occurrence. Aegis Syndicate was founded on the belief that every Nation should have the opportunity to strive in this world without worrying about anything other than flourishing their Nation. Aegis Syndicate is a well organized coalition of Nations who are focused on the protection of other Alliances and/ or Nations. Each Alliances and/ or Nation that seeks long term or short term protection shall be bound by contract with Aegis Syndicate for the amount of time and price the protection order is requested for. Article II: Contracting Any Alliance and/ or Nation can apply for protection by creating a binding contract with Aegis Syndicate. All contracts will be applied for and created in the Aegis Syndicate Community (See Article: IX). Each contract terms shall be different on a case by case basis. All contracts that that are established with have a designated price and time span in the contract. Aegis Syndicate and the Alliance and/ or Nation shall agree on the terms of time and price before any contract is finalized. There will be a penalty for breaking a contract earlier than the designed end date on the contract. Any contract can be extended prior to the completion date of the current contract with that Alliance and/ or Nation. In the event that there are two binding contracts between any Alliances and/ or Nations that are feuding against one another, the Aegis Syndicate shall unbind those contracts and not be partial or bias to the cause. For more detailed information on thr contracting process please proceed to the Aegis Syndicate Community (See Article:IX). Article III: Membership Any Nation may apply to join the cause of Aegis Syndicate. Before submitting an application with Aegis Syndicate we suggest the you proceed to the Aegis Syndicate Community (See Article: IX) and read the Information Packet for more detailed documentation on the Alliance. After reading and understanding the information that is distributed in the Information Packet a Nation may apply in the community. Article IV: Academy New Nations that are accepted into the Alliance will hold the rank of Cadet (See Article: VIII). Each Cadet will go through an Academy that has predetermined criteria for graduation. Any Nation that has been established for more than six months prior to being accepted into the Alliance will not need to go through the Academy and be automatically placed into their Military Company (See Article: VI). Article V: Hierarchy Aegis Syndicate shall be led and managed by a Directorate which will oversee every day operations of the organization. Each Director under the Directorate is assigned to a special Department within Aegis Syndicate. The Director shall be in charge for his/ her designated area of responsibility. Attached to the Directorate will be the Head of State that will oversee all operations of the Directorate. Listed below are the Departments under the Directorate: Head of State Director of Internal Affairs Director of Foreign Affairs Director of Contracting Director of Treasury Director of Intelligence Director of Recruitment Article VI: Chain-of-Command Each Nation within Aegis Syndicate will be placed into a Company that corresponds with their current Nation’s Strength (NS). If that Nation should exceed or descend lower than their current Company NS, then they will then be placed into that corresponding Company. Each Company shall be overseen by one Company Commander. Within the matrix of a Company there will be several Platoons that also correspond with that Nations NS. Platoons are smaller groups of Nations that have a closer NS to one another. Each Platoon shall be overseen by one Platoon Leader. A Nation that is promoted to a Military Leadership position may hold a Military Leadership position in a Company that doesn’t correspond with their current NS Article VII: Military Ranks There are currently eight Companies with multiple Platoon in each. Listed below are the Military Ranks established by Aegis Syndicate: Company Commander – Oversees a Company size element Platoon Leader – Oversees a Platoon size element Military Nations – Nations will be promoted based on their NS. Cadet – Member of the Academy Article VIII: Military Operations Once a binding contract has been established Military protection will be conducted at all time. If any Alliance and/ or Nation are attacked by an outside entity, Military and/ or Diplomatic actions will start upon the attacking Alliance and/ or Nation. If the attacking Alliance and/ or Nation are under a protectorate or treaty then the Directorate will get involved and speak with the Leadership of that current attacker about Diplomatic Affairs. If the Diplomatic Affairs fail then it is Aegis Syndicates responsibility to find active members in the Alliance to fill the remainder of the war slots on the attacking force(s). The Military Leadership for the corresponding Company that is in charge of the current NS level will coordinate with the contract holder and vice versa.
