Helixdown

I've currently been wrecked by a recent invasion. Though i've been (attempting to) rebuild, i was just wondering if anyone out there could grant me a bit of aid, as in twelve thousand to fifteen thousand dollars? People keep on telling me that the soldiers you buy in Cybernations are "mercenaries" and do not take from your working citizen count. However, whenever i buy more soldiers, i loose more working citizens, why is this?
