It's entirely possible that I made a mistake. I did all of this by hand and threw them into a spreadsheet so I could have missed or misplaced a number. -
Donated 10bux, feel kinda pathetic compared to some of these other donations, but if we do this again, I will most definitely be able to donate more later this year (hooray getting a job a such).

Many tech dealers we've dealt with in the past have been unreliable at keeping track of all the deals they have going on, so we've generally made it an effort to give all of our tech sellers reminders as it benefits us and the dealer. We'd rather not have to wait 3 days because the seller finally realizes that he's supposed to send tech. It's a little annoying and sometimes tedious, but I think in the end, it works out because that's 3 (or 2, or 5 or whatever) less days we end up waiting and having to start a new cycle, and that's less time the selling nation has to wait before getting another aid package. It seems somewhat overkill, but those extra days we save because of reminders really add up over the course of time. Of course, I realize that active and reliable dealers don't usually need this. If that's the case, it's pretty easy to ignore PMs. But damn, nothing is more annoying than late dealers. -

The war mechanics of this game are so easy I'm still surprised that we're consistently rating alliances as poor when there really shouldn't be any reason otherwise.

Alliances that cancel on another alliance have zero obligation to tell the OWF about the cancellation. Also, it's generally humiliating to the alliance being canceled on because of how much of a flame fest it becomes.
If you don't want to announce it, you don't have to. OWF blowhards don't need to dictate your announcement policies. -
I genuinely do hope wars are started over ending $3mil / 50 tech deals.

For me personally, I sent them an in-game message, they replied with "Roger that, we'll nuke today then you can do the rest" or something along the lines and it was in perfect English. They then proceeded to nuke before us, so yeah. -

When we went to war with MCXA, there were several NEW nations we fought along with. We all PM'd them saying to let us do the nuking since we often had an 8k tech advantage over them, yet they would nuke anyways. This was reported many times across the board.
Inability to coordinate with those you are fighting with is not a trait of an elite alliance. -

I don't think you should place the blame on yourself. I think regardless of where you stood, everything would blown up as it did anyways.
