Actually this has drifted. It is not really the surrender that has caused consternation and dismay, but the fact that he deserted the alliance that he pledged his nations life to defend. Yes, we have that contract saved. His personal surrender is just icing on the cake, providing further proof of his craven cowardice. Punishing him for his surrender? Not so much. Punishing him for desertion under fire? Yes, we think.
