That's not really my concern. But we had realized that we were limiting our possibilities for trades and tech deal on our sphere and that it was really beginning to show, thus we began a discussion about the pros and cons of relinquishing the Moldavi Doctrine.

At least you can admit you have yourselves to blame. And considering the NPO's drive to gain more power, usually in whatever way deemed necessary, I can understand that you would look towards making sure you had a greater flow of tech coming into your alliance.

But I have to ask, was this before or after you released GATO from acting as your personal "tech farm" suppliers?

Or was it when you began to get the slightest inkling that you might run out of alliances to beat down for tech and money? Or that the next one you found some contrived excuse to attack might just have a few allies on its side?

  2. I have no love for Bel Air, but a topic like this just makes the whole Karma war a joke, maybe we should have left NPO in power, as it seems with NPO out of the way, anyone can be attacked for any reason even more so then when NPO was in power.

So you're saying that we should have left an alliance who invented* CN's version of genocide and death camps in power where they could do whatever they hell they wanted, say whatever the hell they wanted, and make the game boring by enforcing their own version of peace on other people. All without any repercussions.

[sarcasm]Yeah, sounds like a good idea to me.[/sarcasm]

As for me, I voted for 5 due to the fact it might have made things interesting. I'll probably just sit by and watch the fireworks though.

    * = and most frequently used.

I really don't think anyone here is serious. Are they

Probably not. But hey, it'll be interesting to see if someone does try to roll Bel Air.

  3. Respect should be given even to those who don't deserve it.

    Why?

If a person backstabs others he should not be treated with any respect, nor should those who state racist comments on these forums or troll threads. I cannot see any reason why people who clearly deserve no respect should be treated with any level of it.

  4. Which nation?

The nation which is shaped to be the world's largest phalic word.

    EDIT: In Antartica.

Anyway quick question, there's two unmarked nations between PRC, Java and Dacca. If they're not being used as some sort of no man's land or have not been taken due to some error, would anone mind if I took the larger one of them?

  5. Act respectfully and you should be treated with respect. That's my view of this anyway.

However, such a thing should be based upon a person's entire time on the forums. For example if a group of people spend several years behaving like total arses while in a position of power, and suddenly turn nice when their luck changes then they should still be treated with no respect upon they are proven to be sincere.

    EDIT: typo

  6. I would suggest speaking to the members of your own alliance for this rather than seeking outside help in this manner.

But if you are looking to recruit new members then I would suggest you look into the advantages and unique strengths of your alliance and creating a promotional message about it to send to non-aligned nations. At least that is what most alliances do anyway.

  7. I'm pretty amazed that the poll is almost equally balanced. You'd figure if NPO was causing such a travesty in terms of game play and making the game miserable prior to the Karma war there would be a much more slanted perspective towards positive improvement now that we're under terms. But apparently not. I guess that just goes to show the degree that particular slant on the discussion was mere propaganda.

Or it goes to show that the NPO and it's allies have more active members on the forums willing to get involved in a thread about them and prevent it from becoming bias against them. Not everyone who is/was a member of Karma has an account on here.

I think it was fun having an "Evil Empire" that we "despised", and attempting to destroy them was a fun and worthy goal if for no other reason then they were number one. I think we now need a new evil empire to fight until the NPO gets back on there feet, and they will be back! oh yay, I cant wait, we need much more drama! :P

Why bother letting them get back on their feet before we fight them again.

  8. IFN News Report

With the continued rebuilding of both the Battlestar Pegasus and the conversion of the fleet to new shelters for the Korean colonies, a number of the wartime engineers have begun work on rebuilding some of Pegasus' more modern one man fighters.

Due to dwindling resources and the destruction of the vast majority of the Vipers and their production facilities during the exodus from Outer Heaven Inc. the fleet was forced to rely upon the heavily outdated Cobra class fighters rescued from museums and scrap yards.

With the exodus at long last at an end and the rebuilding of the 'New Heaven' colonies under way, most of the maintenance crews for the fighters have been working night and day to rebuild the Viper facilities and fighters.

Earlier this morning the first of the newly rebuilt Viper mk VII was put under a number of trails and while the testing flights were cut short due to an electrical failure in the Viper's secondary engines we at long last have the first sign our nation once more being defended by an effective and modern air force.
