2. I suggest the following for Best Player Quote for reasons of originality and humour. Also trains.

This is like watching two fully loaded freight trains, heavy with idiocy, crashing into one another.

  3. I nominate the NPO for Most Immoral Alliance for obvious reasons. Namely their lack of any shred of honour, a moral code, common decency and respect to others outside their ranks.

I nominate the Imperial Order for Best Flag due to art style and use of bears.

I nominate the Mushroom Kingdom for Alliance of the Year due to their impact upon the game and the level of bitter hatred they gained from certain enemies they had defeated.

I nominate GATO for Most Honourable Alliance due to it being an integral part of our most basic fundamental values. "Honour in justice."

I nominate gatoforums.net for Best Forums. I will admit that I have only seen a handful of forums belonging to other alliances but thus far this one seems to have been the most colourful and easiest to navigate. Its primary colour is not black or some shade of it anyway.

I nominate GATO for Best Alliance Growth. Due to retaking our sanction, recovering from the departure of most of our major members and shrugging off every major setback, bad luck and attacks by nuclear rogues we have had to face.

Finally I nominate both Best DoW and Funniest Event to the Dark Lords for the following reason: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=88343&st=0

But what stops the natural progression of walkers?

    FEAR THE FUTURE!

Oh trust me, you've got GDI designs of walkers to fear before you reach those things.

  5. It was some time later before a second reply was sent in response to Girltopia's broadcast:
To willingly nationalise such discrimination against human beings for they way they are born is something we rank amongst our highest crimes.

You have shown promise in putting such gender bias behind you, and as such our forces shall not directly move against you.

However, all convoys and supply routes which move through the territories of our colonies are closed to you.

    We will be watching.

    - Quorum of the Pegasus Colonies.
6. High above the stratosphere the gargantuan bulk of a warship slowly glided through space as it followed its planned orbit, watching the world below. The sunlight caught upon its armoured prow revealed horrendous damage across its hull; blackened, twisted metal where repeated nuclear strikes had struck it and missiles had penetrated its thick armour. Little of its exterior suggested any life save for the occasional flicker of internal lights and maneuvering thrusters firing to maintain its standard orbit above the world.
Upon both of the flight pods which housed the wings of attack craft, Vipers, Raptors and even a handful of outdated Cobras, was emblazoned a name: Pegasus.

Standing at the window of his office, a man wearing the ill fitting uniform of a commander looked down at the continents below and sighed. On the desk behind him a handful of intelligence reports lay unopened save for one on the Queendom of Girltopia.
The recent vote had gone better than he would have necessarily expected but it showed far less progress than he would have hoped for. Most nations had been able to leave behind the old ideas of placing one gender ahead of the other, but there were always a few who ignored any chance to progress past such petty discrimination.

Keying the codes to the CIC six levels above him, the commander unhooked a phone from the wall next to him. "Colonel," he said wearily "have our colonies in the East move to mid alert status and mobilise our ground forces.
Have our intelligence agents watch the outcome of the next series of votes for the Queendom of Girltopia. Move the ship into an orbit which will place us directly above the nation by the time their council releases its decisions upon the current matters."

That'll be the another Voxian tradition I was respecting.
You're confusing Pacifican and Voxican traditions there. And you're also admitting you have no reason or right to post in here.

You also appear to be following another great Pacifican pastime of making !@#$ up without any foreknowledge, experience or right to say such things and calling it the truth.

Though that might just their historians i'm thinking of here.

The reasonable course of action is not to continue to bemoan that the NPO has not changed and never will; waiting to see what we actually do before pronouncing judgment makes much more sense, and is actually, much more credible.
Go back and read previous posts involving Maelstrom Vortex. I have already said that my opinion of the order will grow if you show signs of improvement. Until then you have shown little to no reason to suggest you have changed at all.

As for your choices, you are correct. But considering your many actions and decisions as leader of the NPO, and the lack of any regret or pause for thought you showed in crushing so many isolated and independent alliances, I have no doubt that you regard as great deal of them being the right choices to make and very few major events as being mistakes.

Forgive me if I don't hold my breath. You've spent the last 10 pages railing on us, all the while our Emperor has offered you a cup of tea and you've done everything short of throwing it right back into his face. Who knows, maybe we might surprise you if you gave us a chance, but given your conduct in this thread, I don't foresee that happening...ever.
Has it occurred to you that the last ten pages might have not featured me railing against your alliance had you simply stopped replying or dropped the subject.
And you're right. You might surprise me and you might prove me wrong, thus I am giving you a chance to chance and watching your actions. It depends entirely upon your members as to how I regard the NPO in the future.
If they change, then things change for the better.

Also, have we met before? No offence but most Pacificans have very little to differentiate themselves from other members of the Order.
