Here is the deal, we are a TINY alliance. We ave no interest in playing this out anymore, don't feel the need to justify ourselves, and frankly you have twelve pages of this what more could we add to this discussion. By this point everyone has decided where they stand and dug in, our adding anything would only fuel this clown circus further.

I went from saying if he desired it I am SURE he could have it. But he does not (you are referring to a long time ago) which is why elections were called immediately.
I am not back peddling at all. I encourage you to re-read exactly what I have posted. And if you desire further clarification I am on #ov so come talk to me.

Actually yes, Seth was Emperor during reconstruction, and freely gave up power after we could hold elections. He has acted honorably. I would not say that if I did not, from my experience, believe and have 100% confidence in him.

A Pro-VE gov has been installed: Petar as lone dictator until the elections are completed.
The ends to which VE would think it is a good idea to run OV are glaringly obvious: Reps. It has been mentioned in this thread that SethB wants to merge OV into VE. If that happened, VE would suddenly be on the receiving end of alllllllllll that tech and money om nom nom. If for whatever reason other Karma AAs would block that redistribution of reps, then VE needs to do what it's doing now: keep OV together long enough for them to receive all the reps, then merge. In either case, VE gets all that tech and money.
The truth is, I can understand that point of view being outside of OV. But if OV were to merge, and again, IF, I would demand payment of OV's tech reps to all OV members only. And the other obvious point, my fight is for OV to remain OV. And OV members are free at all times to quit or join any alliance they desire.
I love and will continue to love OV, but the reality is this: OV has had a helluva year and requires leadership.
I think Sethb's heart lays in keeping OV its own entity, actually, I know he wants that. And I think if he were available and could help achieve that goal he would without hesitation, but the fact is shortly, he will not be.
The other thing, if Seth wanted power OV is not where he would have come. Seth has had multiple legitimate opportunities to be an emperor or dictator and has ALWAYS turned it down at first mention. And I know from working with him intimately that he has no intentions of that, but again, you do have to take my word for it.
Anyhow, I would like to move OV beyond this situation, to a bright future.

Well I am Gov., and while I have not been as active of late due to rl stuff, I do trust Sethb quite impeccably. Now, for disclosure I should say I have not had contact with Tito or Zenergy but I do wish to speak to them.
There are a few things I can speak to tho:
1) Sethb had been a boisterous supporter of OV's sovereignty.
2) I believe Tito to be honorable.
3) Petar started this whole "argument" with the intention of restoring current gov to the ends that they hold elections.
4)As soon as the "coup" as you are calling it was effected elections were initiated immediately. I have read your argument that a "pro-VE" gov was to be installed, this is in fact no the case. I would, as a generalization, say that OV is pro-VE simply because of the support and help they have given us. And as a final note: To what ends would VE think it is a good idea to run OV, seriously, we are a tiny alliance with only a few members; do you see what they would gain from a puppet government because I do not. And I also don't think they would ever do that, but that is just me.

This issue should die, it is an internal matter. But I do appreciate all of your input on it.

Actually, I left out an important part: Petar is also a traitor due to his pivotal role in removing his co-triumvirs and holding elections to select two new triumvirs that are pleasing to VE.
I really don't think VE gives a !@#$ who runs OV. I believe they simply want to see OV stay afloat through this, and I for one am all for the resolution of it. Let's get this over with.

Anyhow, I personally got my $@! kicked for quite a while until the other big alliances joined in the fight. Can't speak for anyone but myself: I was ready to be rolled if it came to that. The war was long and took vast sums of money to wage, factoring in the lost money and what each nation would have been able to do if the war had not occurred the reps seem in the area of reasonable.
Oh well, this discussion is going to go around in circles forever. Nobody is going to change anyones mind on bob.

I have yet to see ANY OV member complain about how much we lost, I do see NPO yelling about how much they have to pay us. And attempting to side track people by yelling "unfair" and other such bs.
Bottom line, NPO lost. They get no say in how or what KARMA does with the agreed to surrender money.

And Thierra, isn't that the whole point? OV is so small that NPO should never have attacked. Remember what actually pissed off half of bob?
When you are a huge alliance you have a responsibility to use other methods as opposed to simply rolling everyone you dislike.
OOC: Look at all the huge and powerful countries in the world that could have simply invaded and didn't. And also look at when a huge county invades a small one, results are usually not very good...

Which is not to say that NPO hasn't done the same in the past, and might thus be deserving of this treatment. I just hate to see the English language abused by those that should know better. Cheers.
I believe the idea is to re-build the victorious alliance, right or wrong, that is the idea. Of course, they involve punitive damages too but the mix is up to each persons imagination I suppose.
