Support for Sargun has outstripped support for Sumeragi by what appears to be a large margin.
The World Map is for all intents and purposes something OOC and detached from CNRP, but at the same time it has become what many players use for their own actions. Over the past few months there have been RPs revolving around claims in this thread and "in character", and from that it has become apparent to me that the person who takes care of the map should have both power and reason.
While both Sargun and Sumeragi appear to have tempers, they both do good map jobs. Yet when I asked for input about the two, the majority concluded that while map skills were rather on par..
I see no reason why she should be able to make her own thread, nevermind why Sargun would have his unpinned. Mapmaking is a service, not a power. She should not be asking for power. If she likes doing the map, then do the map... Nobody else asks for power, why should she be any different?This closing statement struck me and resonated in most of the responses. For that reason, the World Map 5.0 thread will continue to run by Sargun as official mapmaker. I hope you and Sumeragi can come close to a deal.

Well, the issue turned out to be a video driver-related one... re-downloaded the driver, changed the connector and it's all good now.

It has recently come to my attention that there have been multiple spats on this board regarding "mapmaking" authority and there have been other complaints as well. I'd like to hear them out in a private message to myself, if you would be so kind.
This is a way for me (and Stormcrow, and the rest of the mod team by extension) to gather information privately about a decision that we might have to make in order to keep order on this section.
(I know I put this in the World Map Thread, but this is also considered part of CNRP and some people don't check the map.)
