    Don't normally respond to posts like this, but just had to on this one.

    10 GOOD REASON WHY NOT TO JOIN IRON

     

    #1 IRON a horrible alliance of arrogant people.

    Sure we have some arrogant people, but a full alliance? I hardly think so, look at our president for starters. Probably the most humble guy I know.

     

    #2 They make 100% focus on raiding none allied nations a top priority. They can only attack weak nations not strong nations.

    Tech raiding has been banned since 2009, we do have a duty to defend our alliance comrades, which is what you have already experienced.

     

    #3. To much pride in there leaders eyes.

    Sure, we don't always get it right. But this is something I feel we don't have. Unless it is pride for our alliance which without we would not still be around today.

     

    #4. If your a new nation joining IRON your just a number to them. They really don't care about you, your nation or what you bring to the plate. There so many in there alliance you will never climb in rank. Your just a number to them.

    I doubt that, I personally (as someone involved for a long time in development of warring nations) try to nuture people. As for climbing in rank, I was brought into the alliance, and managed to work my way up. IRON is an alliance that promotes on promise, ability and merit, not just willy nilly. This is how we manage to get the skilled people in the leadership positions to move us forward the whole time.

     

    #5 Weak Diplomacy. They let most of there outside friends do the talking for them. No one in IRON really has good oratory skills.

    Actually we work pretty hard on our FA skills, just because we don't have a strong voice here (never have really) doesn't mean our FA is not up to scratch.

     

    #6 There trade ethics suck. They tell you who your gonna trade with and when.

    Trades are a nightmare, finding partners is hell. We find people for you, so the stress is taken out, then give you a trade set that is optimised for growth.

    Because thats a bad thing?

     

    #7 To much control,  They control every aspect of what your nation is doing! You might as well not play because they dictate everything your gonna do for the next 90 days.

    IRON is proud just have some of the best advice available in CN. We never control, you always retain the right to ignore us, but we do make strong suggestions.

     

    #8. Iron is like a infestation of cochroaches, you destroy one and 10,000 come surfacing up. Don't be a cochroach of IRON.

    10,000 is a over estimations, we are an alliance of circa 300. However, as you seem bent on perpetual war, get used to seeing lots of us.

     

    #9. No trust. You can't trust IRON, They say one thing and do another.

    I think we stick to our guns. We say will stop you, we genuinely will, as it seems this is what you are bent on.

     

    #10. They live for conflict! They dwell on drama and love to push newbs around! So many better alliances out there in this game you don't need to join IRON.

    Yes we do, it is in our blood as an alliance, but we try to avoid drama where possible. As others have pointed out, you are the one creating the drama here.

     And the biggest IRONy here, you were never a full member, you were a ghost, hence the war. Therefore your opinions voiced above are based on fiction as you have no first hand experience of us. Well apart from being smashed.

    I am Curufinwe, Minister of Internal Affairs for IRON, and I currently oversee the education system in IRON, alongside my academy team.

    We are currently rebuilding our academy, and the process is nearly done. We hope that the new IRON Academy is the best in the game, and that many many hours of game knowledge from everyone in IRON will be passed down our generations.

    You made many posts, which is encouraged, and completely ignored the advice given. We tried, do listen in future :).

    I cannot add anymore to what Shan has said, we are the big bad IRON, how dare we! My nation is a wreck, IRON made me what I am today.
