    The eruption cyberverse-wide war has seen many blocs, alliances, treaties and sadly even friendships torn asunder. BANG has watched sadly as her allies have cast their lots with both sides, leaving us with no easy decisions. Our treaties with the Mushroom Kingdom and with NATO, through the Common Defense Treaty, have been particularly difficult to reconcile. Any help we give to either side would put us into a de facto state of war with one of our allies.

    In reaching a final decision, many factors were weighed, in particular the level of friendship and trust we held with each of our treaty partners. During our negotiations with the Mushroom Kingdom we made them aware of our CDT obligations, and that we held them as our top priority. Since the war broke out we have also seen MK members taking dishonorable actions such as impersonating the membership of other alliances in irc channels. Particularly disturbing has been the lack of respect and trust we have been shown by the leadership of the Mushroom Kingdom.

    We have nothing but the highest regard for the actions of NATO, and have always been treated as valued allies of NATO.

    With this in mind we regret to announce that we have canceled our MDP with the Mushroom Kingdom. As per the agreement this cancellation is immediate.
