Good luck and best of success, guys!
It was sad losing an excellent member in Oriosway, but it's great to see that awesomeness is spreading!

In other words you all voted and then he added his bonus chancellor votes which just pushed it over the edge with 400 more then the runner up right. Democracy at work
Not quite. We did have our flag, so the whole issue was just which graphic version to submit. The Chancellor collected the different versions (slight differences, mind you), consulted the Senate, submitted a version.
If it had been a binding vote (instead of a consultation), the only "bonus" the Chancellor has is in case of a tie - which was not the case here.
This was the story of Custom Flag #60, proudly brought to you by The Democratic Order!

Who was it?
He knows. His alliance knows. That should be sufficient.
Not being a safe haven for nations on the run does not mean we have anything against those nations, so as to shame them in front of the whole Bob. It's all between themselves and the alliance that has reason to hold them to account.

Speaking of neutral's, what's up with The Democratic Order today? Taking in 13 members, but losing .12 points? Don't they know not to take in unlucky amount of members?
We had a high NS deserter leave TDO and rejoin their alliance.
This should serve as notice that The Democratic Order is no safe haven for nations on the run.

Although I don't speak for TDO gov, I'm sure I echo a strong sentiment in the alliance when I say this:
As much as we're excited at the prospect of getting sanctioned and flying our flag (finally!), it makes us sad that this will be due to the misfortune of others.
I wish the best of luck to all warring alliances, and especially to FOK and TOOL: I hope you guys rebound soon and reclaim your sanction - while we're gonna cherish it, we won't be guarding it jealously!

We could see a GPA/TDO race soon.
I guess we're seeing it already. And it's neck-to-neck so far, which makes for a fine spectacle!
[...]i am issuing A CHALLENGE! to overtake GPA, battle of the neutralsim betting by the end of march we will have overtaken those dastardly folks!
By the end of March means we've got plenty of time to enjoy the race AND win it!

If TDO and the GPA go to war, does that mean they're still neutral? o.OIn a 1x1 fight I think so.
Actually, in order for such a thing to happen, either the TDO or the GPA would have to breach the Declarations of Neutrality they have both signed. And in such a case I doubt the offending party would be able to maintain a claim to being neutral. Even if technically proosible, it would just not be credible any more, imho. So, don't expect us neutrals to start slugging it out with one another any time soon!

Vietnam was neither Rogue nor Raid... And still it was undeclared. Undeclared - as in "never officially declared".
Would anyone like to attempt to reconcile "simple logic" with major historical facts?
