    I’ve played many different games over the years and I’ve been involved in games similar to CN since 2002. When I first created my nation I noticed immediately how stagnant this game looks, it was easy to tell that an alliance (New Pacific Order) has clearly run away with the game.

     

    I understand that there is obviously a lot of history here, a fair portion of you have built relationships that have spanned 15+ years.

     

    My question to you all is this - 


    Once this large scale war is over, what is going to change, what will be altered to make CN a “new” more interesting environment ?

     

    From an outsiders perspective, I don’t see any change coming. It seems New Pacific Order has allies running to its aid whenever it feels threatened. Sure, they could roll any alliance on their own, probably 2-3 alliances with ease.

     

    At one point do people log in and dare to be different?

    At one point do other alliances say enough is enough?

     

    Throw the treaties out the window, shake the game up and return everyone to a more engaging & level playing field.

     

    I don’t know all the history to this game, I’ve certainly spent a fair amount of time reading up on it though and it seems it’s been quite the ride.

     

    I commend who started this war, clearly they knew it would gain traction on a much larger scale. 
     

    I know my opinion means jack sh!t but I find it laughable to see these other large alliances running to the aid of the largest (by far) alliance in the game.

     

    This seems like it was an opportunity, I’m sure some of these alliances could’ve chosen a side…a side that would “reset” the game to an extent. Instead it seems like they chose complacency.

     

    My apologies for the wall of text, enjoy the wars, this is just a newb rambling on…

     

    Welcome to CN... a game which is at best... tedious.

    Honestly totally unsure how to get a CPI 1 right now. I have all of my government positions set to max out CPS and I'm still at 2.

     

    Swap to Totalitarian.

     

    Also, once you go over about 40k infra you'll always have a CP score of 0, because you know... logic. 

     

    Your high land count generates population which hinders your score.

     

    Drop your tax rate to 10% when not collecting

     

    If you do this and max out your government position you'll have a score of: 588.666

    That wasn't in regards to you at all Blade, Rather the person or persons who messed with the Wiki about you, those people being the anecdote for the "Your" Pronoun at the end there, I should have specified that better.

     

    My meaning was I just find it so pointless to try and bring someone down. It doesn't do that person a lick of good.

     

     

    I had seen the link to this in a thread on the Kashmir Forum and couldn't help but be interested.

    • Go on for what is sure to be pages and pages
    • About the relative merits of the wiki
      • And the alter-ego
        • And the other alter-egos with the temerity to question The Way Things Are

    I see a trail of facepalms going back to the dawn of time.  It's like we have taken Prometheus' gift and turned it into a pilot light for farts.

     

    This is by far the funniest response thus far. May your farts always burn brightly Lex.

     

    The attempt itself of trying to bring another person's reputation down through insults and slanders, whether written on a wiki or OWF, in every aspect of it's being just seems to me as the most fruitless endeavor.

    So what even if you do succeed in lowering another individual's statute?

    Your's is at its same level as before if not lower.

     

    I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say... so I will smile, nod, and go back to my obstetric emergencies revision.

     

    Who cares? I'm just happy to see he's so admired.

    I would have done the same exact thing in his place, egging the person on more. I have no idea how you can see this as pretty worked up. 

     

     

     

    It was never meant to stop the kid...you missed the point of this thread entirely. He didn't know who did it, so by happens stance if the person actually comes to the OWF, they'll see that their little wiki edit didn't get the desired effect. He even mocks the kids for making a full grammatical sentence... you're the only person who doesn't see the irony, vituperous way he mocked the kid. There was no frothing, no anything but subtle jabs.

     

    I think it's great watching Rey throw the toys everywhere, it's like he's trying to find something to get annoyed about. Is it because he never lived up to his name? Is he just jealous that despite having... over 100 times more OWF posts than me no-one supports him? It's really quite hard to tell.

     

    The little wiki edit actually got the exact desired response. When someone takes to wiki vandalism, the fact that it's even noticed is probably enough.

     

    Oh Rey, were you out to annoy me? That's very sweet of you, maybe next time... I don't know... write a story about how I'm so mean to little nooby nations with no influence on the CN landscape.

    Additional notes:

     

    A) Excessive use of hyperbole is helpful and sometimes necessary.

    B) There will always be AA's and users whose asses need to be kissed. This list changes monthly so be sure to post accordingly.

    C) Always remember Neo Uruk posts are the most important in their respective threads.

    D) The length of the post/argument being responded to is irrelevant. One or two sentences will suffice in any and every Neo Uruk posting situation.

    He's pretty worked up to try and bring in the "you need to get a life" !@#$. Granted, I haven't looked at what was on the wiki, but unless it was a few pages long there's no real time taken to make/edit a wiki page; Saying that as someone who doesn't even do wiki !@#$.

    Firstly thank you for finding the time at 03:59, January 5, 2015 (one presumes UTC) to create for me a little page on the CN Wiki. Despite playing the game for roughly eight and a half years I never found the time, or the inclination, to actually do this myself. I would especially like to thank you for describing my as a "Little shit head." showing you are capable of creating a complete, grammatically correct, sentence to describe someone. That being what it is, I am not exactly sure what I did to piss you off enough to have you create this page be worth your time. Mostly I am just glad that whatever I did whilst watching a repeat of The Office (US) with my lady irked you enough to do what I did not get around to since the creation of CN Wiki.

    Could you post the formulae you're using to calculate these please? I'm intrigued as to what effect it would have when applied to individual nations.

     

    I agree with the others about the EMP... it should be included, though I'm not sure how you would do it exactly.
