    :( Where are the haters against my alliance...

    To be honest, the reps aren't bad. I've seen worse and even though many say that it's wrong, in the case of Sparta and Legion, I think it was called for. They refused white peace the first time, so I don't think it should have been offered again. I'd expect the same from any alliance in the war. But that's just my personal opinion though.

    Also, this is the first time my alliance has asked for reps in a war. I'm not sure if I would consider it 'reps' though, considering the deal we have with Legion, but still.. It's new for us. Good luck to Legion, and it's been fun. Perhaps once everything is over and done with, we could work out a more permanent deal. :)

    Not really late and not opportunistic at all actually. But thank you for your comment.

    If you want a in-depth analysis, then we declared because Sparta is our allies. From what you said, us being late means we have been out of the war and decided to join in because it would be to our advantage. Which isn't true.

    Being opportunistic would mean we joined in just to take part of a beating that the Legion may receive. Which, according to the Legion, isn't true.

    We are a small alliance. We don't have hundreds of nations to spare to fight. Our guys declared on as many TOP nations as they could, and they are doing well (and I'll take this time to give a shout-out to Talin of TOP for nuking the hell out of me) but we do have a few to nations not in war to support our friends in Sparta. If you don't like the fact we decided to help them, then I'm sorry. Kinda...

    Okay, not really. They've been great allies to us, so I don't know what to tell you. The Legion didn't accept peace. They are still at war with Sparta, so it's our duty and honor to help where and when we can. And not only that, but my alliance always love a good challenge. So I hope it will be a fun fight between the both of us.

    I must agree. It's too bad people can't be respectful in a thread where an alliance makes honorable terms of surrender public. I could understand the 'lolGGA' comments if the alliance actually screwed up (as could any alliance), but this is just pathetic.

    those of you who can even attempt to spin this really need to look into the past history these 2 alliances share. some very good some not so much. recently things had been good and the treaty this is an upgrade of showed that. now that it has been upgraded it shows that relations have improved beyond good and are now close to/back to where they were in the beginning.

    as i am no longer in VE i will not delve into a history lessen, but i can say that i was elated to see this and it had nothing to do with any potential war impact.

    This man is correct. Spin this however you may, Skippy, but the Brigade and VE have been working on this treaty for quite a while. It all began with the ODP we signed together last year in April and the idea of an upgrade was thrown around shortly after that. Serious talks about the upgrade began in December, I believe, and as for the timing of the announcement... Well, I blame Typo. :awesome:

    In all seriousness, there was a bit of confusion on who was going to post it. Also, I like the length of the treaty. There is no need for flowery words and 10 pages of what is expected of each alliance. We both know what we need to do and feel confident in each other as an ally. If you don't like how short it is, feel free to write one up and send it to me. That way you will be happy and can stop assuming that this treaty was a spur of a moment deal that we made up just because of a war.

    And finally, Brig and VE know where our relationship stands. You are correct in saying that we don't need a treaty to say "I love you", but signing a treaty will show the Cyberverse that both of our alliances have moved on from the past and are closer now than ever. This was more for your benefit than ours.
