    Unfortunately, it'll never happen. take the word of a friend, but never take the word of his alliance.

    It honestly is a failed cause to keep wishing for people to selflessy honour their treaties, 95% of the people who play this game are snakes and that's just the way it is.

    And you are very wrong. There are many alliances out there that takes friends and treaties before anything else like they should. I know SLAP does, I also know for a fact other alliances do as well. Learn before you post.

    Stop kidding yourself. The only reason this is a war is because Athens wants war, and wants to bring the Karma war back. Its just an extended version. In CN you CANT really spy, Most stuff that happens in CN is either heard the next day by the entire planet bob, or is posted. So saying someone spied is like calling all of CN a spy. You just can't.

    @Marx: We mean we will not do those actions with them, not that we are going to sanction there trades and aids.

    Also we keep it open like that for each person and case that appears to us. We keep it that way so we can make the best choice for each person.

    @Marx and Buds: We do intend to uphold this to our max ability, and we are looking for others help us. So instead of saying this will not work, but we like it, why not help us MAKE it work.

    Preamble

    In the spirit of good will, prosperity, and the pursuit of friendship, Sovereign League of Armed Powers and United Union Alliance, do hereby recognize this protectorate agreement as official and agree to all terms and conditions therein, and recognize that United Union Alliance shall be a protectorate of Sovereign League of Armed Powers until such a time that United Union Alliance can stand independently as a sovereign alliance.

    Article I - Members of Sovereign League of Armed Powers, and members of United Union Alliance shall show respect and courtesy towards one another. This includes a positive attitude on the CN forums as well as all other public means of communication in the presence of third parties.

    Article II - Neither Sovereign League of Armed Powers or United Union Alliance shall engage in any kind of espionage or war against one another

    Article III - Sovereign League of Armed Powers will assist United Union Alliance in building a healthy economy through reasonable means. Additionally, United Union Alliance will give Sovereign League of Armed Powers preference in the process of buying or selling technology through official alliance programs.

    Article IV - Sovereign League of Armed Powers shall protect United Union Alliance from rogue and unprovoked wars of aggression. United Union Alliance is highly encouraged but not required to declare on any nation and alliance attacking Sovereign League of Armed Powers.

    Article V - Should either Sovereign League of Armed Powers, or United Union Alliance receive information of importance to one another, that information shall be communicated through private channels within 24 hours.

    Article VI - This treaty may be canceled at the discretion of either signatory. The canceling party shall be required to give the other alliance 48 hours prior notice. During this 48 hour period, all clauses of this treaty shall remain intact.

    If either signatory commits a grave violation of the spirit of this treaty the other reserves the right to cancel the protectorate immediately.

    If we did not have have full faith in the Orange Defense Network, both in their government, and in their membership, I speak for myself in saying, that my signature would not be on this treaty.

    Events that happened in a previous era honestly should not haunt an alliance forever. We as a general public talk a lot about the opposition of tactics like PZI/EZI, so in the spirit of getting over things and saving our energy from beating a dead horse, I say we should make like a bad treaty and drop it. All this flaming back and forth is really pointless in my opinion. For those that are here talking about "classy move" with their sarcastic tone, I say this. If you want to talk about a classy move, I suggest you make one... and either give us a "congrats, hail, and nice to see you again" or if you have nothing nice to say then feel free to ignore whatever SLAP and ODN are doing and go about your business. That would be the "classy move" here.
