  1.

Pretty funny coming from the guy that tried to push FOK to drop us over and over.. and over.... and over.. :)

Let me just come in here and call the nonsense card on you here. TOP has never pushed FOK into dropping anyone. In fact, I remember that during Karma war it was the other way around where you guys wanted us to drop TOP. So don't go and play the pity card here. And I know what I'm talking about since I've been involved in FOK foreign affairs pretty much from the beginning to the end of FOK-TOP relations.

Honestly guys, I really liked you when I was in FOK, but y'all have grown an annoying attitude that definitely does not suit you. Back when GFL was still there with you guys y'all made much more sense than you do right now. Apparently you guys got beef with us so let's just get all the silly fake stories out of the way and just fight it out on the battlefield. That way I will hopefully regain the respect and love I had for you guys back in the days.

  2. I remember it was more because you guys were kinda new and causing a lot of problems with rogues and stuff and generally not sticking to conventions, or weren't really interested in some multilateral agreement. We basically didn't trust you to behave responsibly with it at the time. So yeah we were kind of threatened about it.  Eventually we did start a rotation plan (although I think that was just TOP and ourselves) once things settled down and we were all allies anyway. Orange definitely had some dark days though.

Sure, but there's two ways to deal with that. One way is the way IRON and ODN did, by threatening and degrading, the other is the way TOP dealt with it, by befriending and guiding.

Then again, I believe we are going a little off topic here, which is probably mostly my fault.

  3. Why is this thread 12 pages long? Of course the NPO is back at their pre-Karma heights, no one can deny that. Perhaps, in another year, a Karma 2.0-esque war changes that again. Its the circle of life. The people shoutting loudest that the NPO is now so great will be the first to turn against them then, and the NPO knows that so they want to maximize their influence. Frankly, I can't blame them. It has worked for them in the past so why change ways?

That said Ragnarok would do well to restrict posting to the OWF to government only for a while and get both its internal and external affairs in order.

Wouldn't that still be about everyone and their mother, seeing how everyone seems to think they're in charge of the alliance at the moment? I can't see how it makes things any better for them, honestly.

  5. Dont blame you Leet. The (at that moment) legitimate government declared Kait rogue, and MK decided to start a tech raid. If RoK decides to switch government its fine with me, but if the new government then decides to take in a nation at a (nuclear) war with another alliance without asking the nation to peace out, its not Kait's or MK's problem, but RoK's (or whatever's left of the alliance anyways). RoK demanding reps would be strange, because them reallowing kait back in the alliance without asking her to peace out or refrain from nuking implies they support her actions (as several CN precedents before have shown, an alliance is responsible for its members actions), and therefore MK has a valid point in wondering what the current RoK government has against MK if they tolerate such violent actions against their nations.

    *edit* i hate you cheeky

  6. Your allies are on multiple sides.

Look, guys, I understand what you're trying to do here, I really do. And this whole announcement sounds great, and it sounds staunch and principled, but completely unpractical. You get the pleasure of everyone saying "noble stance!" and "that's how you stand by your allies", but in reality, to your allies this is completely unhelpful, and they're left wondering what they have to do to actually win your treaty-level support when the blows start flying, and further, wondering if you're going to be a liability by fighting with them while simultaneously undermining their efforts and helping the opposing side. I realize that you guys are in a difficult position; I'm just trying to call this a little more like it is.

If one of my allies made a public decision like this, I would be totally sketched out.

These 'allies' should have considered this BEFORE joining a coalition that did not contain several of our other allies.

Don't blame us for honouring our treaties deja.

  7. Alright lets pack it in here boys. Whats done is done. This useless bickering is getting us nowhere.

I do believe the op requested a lock....Any time now mods

I believe such requests are not being honoured anymore for some time now.

You're funny. You attack someone unprovoked and now you're whining about an unprovoked attack on yourself?

Why are you allowed to do it, but tLC isn't?

Reading comprehension. Seriously, I know the ODN is even more ignorant than you were in the past but please, just please, at least pretend you have some sort of a clue.

  8. LOL.....could you not pick on my sarcasm?!?? Of course he is a guy, just a guy with the biggest vagina I've ever seen :P And surely you can figure out why I currently have no GC's.....well maybe you are just that dumb considering your perception of what happened.

I love it how for the second time in a row you manage to avoid all the tricky questions he asks you.

    Duck for cover matey.

  9. It could actually be interesting. Have two nations battle each other, set up some score system. And then watch who wins. In the mean time people can place bets in the form of money or tech.

Now we would only need someone with an awfull lot of time to set this up :P

  10. There are innumerable people who don't tech-raid and never will, whose existence in this game is not defined by being opposed to tech-raiding. Tech-raiding has only increased in scale as this game has progressed to the extent no nation can exit an alliance affiliation without being accosted, and yet the number of nations has plummeted from the days when tech-raiding was rarer. You're own enjoyment of watching other people suffer is not shared by most people- if it's people like you who would be quitting if tech-raiding was crushed, I doubt I'd shed a tear.

You can't compare this time to a few years ago in terms of 'tech raiding vs no tech raiding'. People are mass quitting now because they've played the game for ages. I've been around for over two years and it got boring. Why? The game's stuck. FOK's been preparing for the last big war longer than it actually lasted...

There's a war engine in this game for a reason. The active and friendly community definitely adds to the game, but you don't need a treaty to talk friendly OOC to someone from a different alliance. I always have good contact with my opponents in war.

  11. How many of the nations who were attacked in the LoFN war are still here?

That was roughly a dozen alliances. They're all gone. What was their crime?

    Fighting raiders. Oh no.

How many FOK nations do you think have quit over the last year because the game wasn't entertaining enough since people like you were protecting unalligned nations all over the place?

You can twist it all you like, but if no one allowed tech raiding, the game wouldn't even have half the amount of players it has now. And by that I'm not saying that half of the players is currently actively techraiding, but they are benefitting from it nonetheless. Wether actively, having fun, or passively, by economic gain in their alliance.
