    There is a lot of talk going around the colony. There is a lot of talk by certain ants of disposing Queenie. Of course there is always this sort of stuff being said - but this is different. Everything seems alot more dangerous in this talk. I'm pretty scared. I guess I'm not the only one who feels this way. Queenie set up a new agency - The Secrant Service. Scuttlebutt says that they already made #4423 and #2998 "disappear". #7 got a promotion. He's now Supreme Commander of the Secrant Service. We'll see what happens next.

    Battle!

    Shipped out today for a cross border deep raid into enemy territory, Sarge says we're going as far as 4 feet in. HQ says they have air support lined up for us, we'll see. I'm in the third wave of attack, we're supposed to use the bodies of the first and second as cover before attacking the Reds. We'll get them sons of Solenopsis basalis

    Rumours

    I have a friend down in Queenie's royal chamber. He let me in on what he overheard last night. The soldier ants are blaming yesterday's disasters on an alliance of Anteaters, Spiders, and Evil Evil Fireants (As opposed to Good Evil Fireants and Evil Good Fireants, oddly no one has ever seen a Good Good Fireant.) -- The Axis of Weevil. And today I suddenly got sent from pupa duty up to training camp.
    I have a bad feeling about this.

    #7 was around may dormitory (or whats left of it.) He was looking at...something. Who knows what that old koot is up to these days anyway. In any case the duel anteater/cherry bomb incident leveled it so I've been assigned to a new one. It's crazy. There is this yellow striped ant called a "bee" and this Fireant. The "bee" (what kind of number is that anyway) was nice. The Fireant tried to bite me. Tomorrow I'm going to be working on level 14 in the grub pits.

    So that Ryebread that 44512 found. It wasn't Ryebread.
    We dragged it down to Queenie. Hard work as she was nearly 17 inches down from the entrance. Anyway we got down there and guess what, there was 2932, Mr. king-of-the-anthill himself who told us Queenie doesn't like Rye. Freaking Fireant lied to me. Again!
    So we dragged it back out - 62132 helped. We had just cleared the surface when it happened.
    The light, who knows where it came from, but it was hot, a bunch of guards just exploded when it hit them. God, the screams, I'll never forget them. Anyway, the light is heading right at us. We drop the crumb. We weren't 3 inches away when it went off.
    BOOM!
    The whole top of the nest got blown off.
    Queenie is pissed.
    How was I supposed to know it was a cherry bomb?

    Rye bread!

    Was away from the nest today tracking some breadcrumbs. 763 and 44512 were with me. Good guys, 44512 can really track down them morsels unlike some other ants I won't mention (2932 ) We only found one and it was rye. Ugh! We brought back to the nest anyway. I hear the queen like rye, we'll see.
