I know many of you may not know me, but I have been MoFA of The Illuminati for about three months. Recently I’ve been semi retired due to RL stuff. When I logged in today to my surprise I found that we were at war with alliances who we had previously been friends with, or at least had no real problem with. It took me about half an hour, with access to government boards, the big boards and wiki to find out what had happened.
I understand your anger at a few of our member’s apparent treachery. I can understand you want to kill us all.
I would like to point out that this is due to a few careless words, as all wars are. I am fully aware that I will probably not be listened to, and these words will be ignored and I’ll be insulted, but I urge you, those honourable nations out there, those honourable leaders listen and think.
I come before you the public of CN to urge those who have deemed The Illuminati to be another alliance worthy of destruction, remember that the majority of us are honourable, loyal and trustworthy people. Yes there are some who make bad choices, or say stupid things (I make no accusations) but as an alliance we have honoured our treaties and been loyal to our allies. I urge you to leave be those nations, who are not in government, those nations who have not made careless remarks. I will quite happily let my nation be ZIed for my alliance; this is not a plea for mercy to me. It is a plea for mercy to the foot soldiers that are fighting for their lives, through no fault of their own.
I will not retaliate against my attackers as their attack is just, I am government I should have stopped this tragedy, I will accept ZI if that’s what the world deems my punishment.
Before I post I would like to point out this is a personal statement, not an alliance statement, and should not be taken as such.

That is a bad question.
The merger still had the name Illuminati but it was a NEW alliance, a combination of the old Illuminati and Big Biz, and by merit of that he can become a co-founder.
You can't say that he is lying when he is a co-founder, he just did not clarify. The Illuminati is the NEW Illuminati, and because of that, he is correct to say he co-founded Illuminati.
This is true, he was co-founder of the "New" Illuminati, one which didn't really work. But The Illuminati which came before was the foundations for this new alliance, and therefore as it worked better than the new Illuminati has precedence over the new illuminati.

All i can say is READ!!! There is allot of information about this on the net, there is a great book called "Secret Societies" Read up on Illuminati. Look at their principles they stand for (man, you will be sick!!!). I quote the author "Illuminati is easily the most vile Secret Society known to man".
IN short these are a group of basically "anti-christs, demon worshippers", originally their target was to overthrow the Church, Hitler was also a member of the Illuminati, so that says allot! Although they do not exist as Illuminati at present since the 17th or 18th century, they have a HUGE infiltration system. Basically they get into known power groups, such as the masons, Skull and Bones and allot of others and try to pass their mission of a "New World Order" controlled by them. They get into various mass accumulations of people, simply to increase their influence and power over human kind.
Now, i did not like what i read, it was "disturbing" to say the least, i then went to Terry and the Government to ask for a change in name, it was rejected. But then was when i got the most scary news. Terry Howard confessed to me he is part of the Masonic Illuminati movement and that he was part of some ROyal Sect in England where known people such as Prince Harry and so on were part of. Personally, i did not beleive all this, thought he was pulling my leg, trying to make him sound all big and powerful. After all he works in the Pub and is a Real estate agent, what has he got to do with Sects and NWO crap?

The real Illuminati was called "The Bavarian Illuminati" and was essentially a group of intelligentsia and liberals who wanted to make life better for everyone and found The New World Order. The Christian church didn't like this as their teachings went against the bible as it contradicted divine rule and other Christian teachings of the time.
The Illuminati in CN is a group of Illuminated nations, who want the best for the cyberverse, sure we want a powerful place in it, but who doesn't if you can find me one leader who doesn't dream of having his alliance sanctioned I'll be impressed.
I won't go into Terry's life as if he wants to tell the you he will and I wouldn't like to overstep the limits. But I will tell you he's an honest and good man. He is no more part of an evil devil worshipping secret cult than I am a purple penguin.

Atatcking someone's forums or IRC is:
a) unsporting
B) not part of the war in the game
c) technically an OOC attack
It's a game and should be seen as that and games are better when you have to struggle to beat your oponent, it's much more fun if your equal, but if you were to delete their forums or IRC or similar that'd be giving you an unfair advantage and taking the fun away. Admittedly this is a purely elfish argument against it, and OOC attacks are entirely unacceptable.
Interesting that while all the posts here have been anti, half the votes have been pro...

Congratulations Great Dzar, that was a truly brave move, and proves that there is still somewhere (amongst all the rubbish) a part of the GPA I used to respect.

We're fairly lenient to ghosts, if we find one (we don't actively hunt them) we send them a PM telling them to join the forum or get lost and leave it a while, send them another PM etc etc
If they've done something stupid like attacking someone else we let the other alliance destroy them, and if there are still some slots free then we kill them ourselves.

It's a damn shame that the GPA feel the need to ruin their image of neutrality and peacefulness. It was nice having a large alliance that could be relied upon to do the same thing every time, but now who knows what will happen, they've screwed up bad this time and maybe they won't recover...
I was a member of the GPA a loong time back when I first started, and found it a good place to be, rather boring but a good place for newbs... by the looks of it that day is gone and a new alliance is emerging from where the old GPA used to be

Racism and Fascism is wrong, I think we've established this here, and it's quite obvious to any sane person that this is so.
BUT and this is a big but, anyone who wants to commit acts of violence (and yes by this I mean war) to make a point is lowering themselves to the level of those Nazis and Racists who want to kill anyone for having either a different viewpoint to them or a different skin colour. Either make posts saying We don't want Nazis in our alliance, or talk to them and change their point of view using good old intelligence which is something the majority of Racists lack as if they had it they'd see that their idiotic hateful fearful beliefs are wrong.
Open your mouth and they'll open their mind (hopefully)
Anyhow as always despite my position this may or may not be the official stance of my alliance

1 No, sanctions are dirty tactics, and can easily backfire, especially if your fighting someone on the same team, I'm glad to say that TNWO didn't use sanctions during the Unjust War against \m/ or any of the other white team alliances we where fighting.
2 This poses a dillema, I instantly chose no as to fight for something you and your people don't believe in is dishonorable, but then again why enter a MADP if you are not ready to follow your ally no matter the cost, MADPs should only be with alliances you truly trust.
3. I chose democracy, but only because I believe in CN a mixture works best (one main leader and an elected council below him or her) that way anyone in the alliance can potentially get a gov. position without having been there from day one, but also the main leadership stays stable and there won't be sudden shifts in points of view in the upper echelons of control.

The unjust war makes it sound like the attackers where unjust in their actions, which they weren't.
It was and I supose still is in a way the war against TUP, therefore it is the Unjust War or the maybe the just war depending on whcih side you're on.

This poll needs a "i don't really care" option...
Aliance wise it means a few more new members, and a new sanction position. Aside from that I doubt anyone aside from \m/ and their allies actualy care that much, they where a pain in the neck before the war, but where tollerated, they where unexperienced at big war, therefor lost and now their gone, i doubt many people care.
