  1. You're in MHA, they have comprehensive nation building guides, trade circle programs and a tech market. Assuming you aren't ghosting spend a bit of time looking at their guides on their forum. Once you've got the basics down like what trades to get, what order to build improvements, which governments positions to select etc. and started selling tech you'll be laughing.

  2. Just to confirm something that I've noticed, the 10 days it takes for an aid slot to clear is 10 days from the offer rather than acceptance?

If I received an aid offer on day 1 and didn't accept until day 3, the aid would still expire on day 10 (8 days after acceptance)?

  3. To the OP, it's worth noting that there's a difference between 'Arab/Berber', as you quoted it, and 'Arab-Berber' as the game quotes it. 'Arab/Berber' could also be read as 'Arab or Berber', which would suggest that the two are one and the same and why this may have offended. However, the game calls the ethnicity 'Arab-Berber', which could be read as the Berber sub-division of the Arab ethnic group. There is a separate Arab option for ethnicity so there is no doubt that admin has identified a difference between Arab and Berber (or Arab-Berber), just that the research done refers to the Berber ethnic group as 'Arab-Berber' so that is the phrase that is used (probably because the area inhabited by Berbers is part of what is traditionally known as Arabia).

  4. Ah, not true. PUKE average age of its members is over 30. We are not OPEN, however, lol.

With an acronym like PUKE I'm guessing that you're not the most grown-up of grown-ups either.

    Not that that's a slur, I'm 30 and I found it amusing :D

  5. King Penchuk chose to resign from the Order shortly before, or at least during, the Proxian Empire's initial invasion of the OWF. As such, Polar is not responsible for his subsequent behavior, and should be absolved from any accusations of 'breaking' terms.

So it wasn't a directly enforced banishing, more that KP felt that he couldn't/shouldn't live with the terms and chose to leave?

  6. It was genuine.

You won't find a more loyal teammate than KP.

Also, I was going to reply to KingSuck's, but the thought that anyone can take MCXA's organizational and military efforts seriously has me in stitches.

So are Polaris' general surrender terms threatened by the decision to deliberately break one or is he ejected and everything else is OK?

  7. 99% of the issue is in presentation. Opethian gets it right, while others who come on and actually whine about being treated unfairly get lol'd at. If you want to do a critical analysis and comparison of Opethian's posts and the other random BAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW threads, you'll notice that they are entirely different.

I'd half agree with this, Opethian is clever and experienced and knows how to post. Others who usually come up with this stuff blurt out a couple of lines riddled with spelling mistakes and are shot down. But the fact that Opethian is so well liked is also true. I know WAPA has a lot to do with the beatdown they got but I don't care how well it was presented, no other micro-alliance would have got that support in a similar case.

EDIT: On second thoughts, the fact that nobody liked WAPA may have also had something to do with it.

  8. Pretty much the same as any other. Regardless, this idea is like vox...and we saw where that went, regardless of the influential nations IC that joined.

    Nowhere.

The reason Vox failed was that they declared war on pretty much everyone associated with tC from the start. Whether OPEN is a 'proper' alliance or not, that fact that there might be a number of nations with that in their AA would deter most of the raiders as all they look at are alliance numbers rather than the actual alliance. As soon as word spread that they may not be a 'proper' alliance then unless they got some protection they'd be taken apart.

EDIT: These views are based on the protection side of things, I agree with Chalaskan's views on anarchy as to why it would fail in the long term.

  9. I don't think there's that many raiding alliances to be honest.

I would say that the vast majority of alliances allow tech-raiding, most with restrictions regarding team colour and size of alliance. I think the easier question would be which alliances don't allow tech raiding. I know that MHA, NADC and TFD don't as a rule.

  10. I didn't accept NATOs peace because they expected me to walk away with no reparations for their unwarranted attack. It is NATO who could have avoided this all by paying the paltry sum that would have compensated me for their aggressive actions.

As someone against tech raiding I fully agree with this, I guess the argument we're getting into here is a general 'is tech-raiding wrong?' one and it'll go round in circles like they all do. It's the unfortunate risk of being relatively unprotected but if someone being raided wants to fight back and accept the consequences then fair play.
