  1. The nation of Bericeland believes in the traditional family structure of a mother and a father raising their children. As mariage is seen in our culture as the strengthening of a relationship in order for it to be able to sustain this kind of relationship, gay marriage are banned. We believe that homosexuality damages our proud society and traditions so homosexual behaviour is illegal in public places. The breaking of these laws is generally punishable with $%&@ by horse with the possibility for repeat offenders to be raped by Rhinoceros.

  2. Tech raid a person on a ZI list until you have the x.99 at the end, then give away the spoils so you get the magic number.

edit: or i could try to give you 1.94 tech.

'cause i figure i only need 4999.99 infra, and having 499.99 tech as well would be cool. Besides, then i can do bettr tech jumps if i need to when i have 499.99 tech than 500.04... ok honestly, just look at that number, 500.04. It's like there are 50 000 ppl in ur town and everyone knows each other and then 4 damn terrorists drop by and ruin everything.

    @XRCatD and Horatio Longworth,

    I've never tech-raided some1 b4, and also, is there a ZI list i couldtae a peek at?

    @Horatio Longworth,

If ya want, send me 1.94 and we see how it counts it before i accept it. If it counts it at 2.0 or 1.9, i'll just cancel the aid offer, and if it counts it at 1.94 (which sadly is unlkely), i'll aid ya 2 mils by a third party.

  3. 1. Aid someone 0.05 Tech and get them to accept it.

    or

    2. Get yourself attacked, lose 5 tech/20 infra and some land, and then buy back 4.95 tech

    or

    3. Buy 99.95 tech to get you up to 599.99, which is nearly as perfect :)

EDIT: Just checked: you can't by 0.0X tech, only whole points and tenths of a point. I haven't bought tech in at least a year, gimme a break :P

Anyways, yeah, just aid someone 0.05 tech. Simple.

Saw the edit, i'll do that, and when it works, you'll be getting ur dough :)

    Thanx :)

  4. Bericeland is looking for the world's best minds to suggest a course of action to bring Bericeland's tech from the stupid number of 500.04 to the perfect number of 499.99. Bericeland offers $2 000 000 to whichever scientist/nation leader knows of a way to do that and is able to implement their way without much collateral damage.

  5. Congratulation, you have just helped creating tension between [r] and GGA. It might even go into a war.

What is the problem? There is a lot of tension in CN, it just happends where most people can't see it.

The only tension is that on the Dramanations Meter, and since there's no Dramanations Meter, there's no tension.

  6. OK, there is a lack of tension... that sux, honestly. Remember how cool it was pre-GWII? Like there were two sides that were (apparently) equal in strength, and neither was completely ready to pull the trigger, leaving thousands of players intrigued by what'll happen next? Well, that time's now gone. Thank you, TI, a lot. OK, it's not your fault, I agree, you just won two consequtive conflicts and deserve respect for that, but by doing so, you've robbed CN of any political ambiguity. There is that stray alliance that gets raped, but the overal situation is not gonna change.

In other words, you've won, (CONGRATS!!!! :awesome:), but the whole of CN is stuck at the 'NPO Victrorious!' screen and won't move away. It's to a large extent killing what this game used to be. Anyway, ramble, ramble, ramble, can we just re-start or something? Please?

  7. Good luck with your alliance.

May your members be true and your power level reach over 9000.

Yeah, about the name... please, i'll send you 9 million start-up aid if you do, please change your name to New Arctic Confederation, PLEASE. 9 mil. Yours. in 5 days total. 3 mil every 2 days.

  8. Really nice thread you've got here :)

    Just one suggestion,

Do you see how Tiers 1 and 2 look like this?:

    Tier 1 1 mil - 1.5 mil

    Tier 2 500k - 1 mill

    Well, this is prettier:

    Tier 1 1.0 mil - 1.5 mil

    Tier 2 0.5 mil - 1.0 mil

It features standarized units and identical format for both tiers. :P

  9. For starters, it's a great way to avoid conflicts amongst highly active and important members: if there is a problem, one of them just moves to another friendly alliance (like the NpO) for a while and comes back when things have cooled down. Also, it's a way to make a career for yourself. There's a bunch of people who feel they have the required skills to be in an alliance-governement, but the NPO has more of those members than relevant gov. positions. Filling your e-resume with big positions in other alliances can give you an edge, as well as the other way round, an NPO-council member can make a name for himself and get him into a lot of gov. positions in other alliances.

    Thanks for the response :)

And to the majority of the rest of you, you are damn spammers.

  10. It's not an NPO-specific question, but they are the ones i've seen doing it the most- moving top nations between alliances. That's all :huggy: and all, but i don't get how this actually... helps. To be honest, i see the potential benefit in disorganizing an enemy's offensive plans, but other than that, this alliance-hopping remains a great mystery to me.

  11. OP, that's 'cause ya don't know how to keep trades. Ya send 'em some dough along with the trade, and promise them some more if YOU cancenl the agreement... Also, be friendly. So, when time comes for them to cancel your trade, they'll remember your niceness and well, not cancel. that's how i've maintained my 3 non-pink trades for the last 2 months, being friendly.
