    I was referring to the half dozen alliances already on the Sith. That outgun us(on paper) by nearly 10-1 odds. Hear that wooshing noise?

    It's the sound of my point going over your head. :smug:

    I really wasn't talking about just the NSO anymore, but about your coalition. Maybe your alliance is doing an okay job, your allies are really not.

    And hey, if they don't cut it, I'm sure you all will be able to find yet another alliance to try and throw on us.

    Nah, we want to make this a challenge. If we allow all the alliances asking us if they may contribute to the destruction of NpO and NSO to actually join, this war would be over way too soon ;)

    You know what brother...I don't agree with you but I want to thank you for the most civil and well thought out statement I have seen so far. This whole process is better when people can discuss their viewpoints logically and I want to thank you for that....

    (My vantage point would be that all boys have to learn to speak up for themselves but I would never tolerate any group of boys ganging up on a younger one or even a larger boy thinking he can bully kids for his own amusement)

    Thank you. And I am not trying to say NpO's views are necessarily wrong, I believe you really do think you're doing the right thing. But it's not the path I would choose, and I think it's not the path my alliance would choose. If an alliance is getting curbstomed and they really didn't do anything to deserve it, the community should act. But if it's their own fault, or if they really can handle it themselves, we should just let them do it on their own.

    It's easier to assume everyone can fend for themselves when you are #12 on the alliance list. When you are #140 the vantage point is different, this is so all those who are just getting their feet wet can do so without being tormented by someone for nothing but tech and lulz. We just want it to stop. We don't require reps or anything, we just want it to stop.

    People don't get to bully for free anymore, there is now a cost associated with bullying...

    They can't fend fot themselves because you don't let them gain the experience to do so. We haven't always been a top 12 alliance, we had to learn how to wage war by waging war. But already during one of our very first conflicts we experienced the meddling nature of NpO ourselves. Like so many other alliances did. Really, if there is no need for you to interfere, if there is no place for you to interfere, you should not interfere. But instead you do.

    It's kinda sad that is even has to be announced.

    Why? I think it's good a thing we're being upfront about this. If all hell is going to break loose we are likely to be in a situation where we have multiple close allies on both sides. Most common thing to do is pick a side or stay neutral. But we do not like those options. We want to honour our treaties and we want to honour 'em all. So that's why we're going to do it this way. And at FOK! we all know very well that this decision is going to cost us, as we are going to get hit by both sides. But if that is the price we have to pay for being a good friend, we will pay.

    So.. we will declare war upon every alliance we are not allied to in case they declare war on a alliance we are allied to (MDP and up that is). But we will not declare upon allies.

    What this means is: if we are allied to A and B, and A is declared upon by B en C we will battle only C. And if B on their turn are declared upon by D we will fight D.

    Wait, what? So... let's say iFOK attacked a random alliance just because. I highly doubt they'd do that, but let's just say they did. It's a pure war of aggression. If iFOK asked for assistance, would you help them? If they got hit in a counter by another alliance, would you help them? What if iFOK went to war with an ally of Fok's? Would this treaty take precedence over your other ally treaty?

    Just asking for clarification here since I presume you want the world to be crystal clear on your relationship (otherwise you wouldn't have posted it on the OWF)

    I would. I will always fight for FOK, why doesn't matter. And since iFOK is FOK too...
