  1. I think an alliance matters if its members all enjoy being in that alliance.

As long as it serves a purpose to at least one person, it should matter enough.

In the bigger scale of things, I guess alliances only matter if they have a big impact and stick around. Or something. idk.

    I think everyone matters.

  2. The government that made the claim is just as credible as that of GGA or Valhalla. Have they said anything to oppose the claim?

I don't think that's how it works. Credibility is not the issue here; the issue here is whether or not the information can be proven.

Suppose you're Hyperion and I'm Valhalla:

If you claim that I have ignored you, and I decide to ignore that while having given proper consideration to what you claim had been ignored, then that does not automatically imply I have been ignoring everything.

We cannot, however, provide solid evidence that this is the case. What is meant here is that Wiki articles should contain only articles that have been acknowledged by both parties, and that can be taken as absolute truth, and not truth taken from either implication or assumption.

The boy cannot see the mice, but he knows they are there - Not because he has seen them, but because he heard others claim there are mice. Because those others are credible sources (i.e. they have shown themselves to be individuals that do not tell lies often), should we then assume that there are mice?

  3. I figure, ruling the world with an iron fist is a tiresome hobby. Sooner or later they ought get tired of it, or some jokejesters will ruin things from within if the Alliance grows too large.

I'm in BAPS, therefore on the NPO side of things, supposedly. Honestly, I don't care much for NPO, Vox Populi or anything. I joined CyberNations but a month ago, and all this supression and oppression fancyshmancy, all this lack of freedom for newcomers... Eh, I'm not seeing it.

Everyone and their grandma messaged me with requests for me to join their rockin' awesome alliance in return for 3 mil, protection, intensive training programs and what have you. Not a one attacked me after I formally declined all their invitations.

Then BAPS came along and promised me friendship and lulz, so I joined BAPS.

So... I'm curious which part of this process was controlled by the NPO and uh, everything. Y'know.

I'm having a hard time seeing any righteousness on either side of the war.

  4. This debacle serves as a fine reminder of the fine line between daring humor and offensive humor.

An important facet of making a daring joke is that if the other party is offended by the joke, that you possess the sportsmanspirit of apologizing for a poorly made joke. By withholding the apology and faulting the other for taking offense to your joke is, speaking from my own personal taste, even more distasteful than requesting a soldier to take up the name of "Gomer Pyle".

Not cool, Poison Clan. Not cool.
