SoM is Pleased to announce the signing of an MDOAP with our friends at TTK
Provision I: Sovereignty
This Treaty shall not infringe upon the sovereignty of either The Templar Knights nor The Sons of Muspel (hence forth referred to as TTK and SoM respectively)and shall serve only to embody the mutual respect, trust, and friendship between these alliances. Hence, the member-states and governing bodies of the respective entities shall be subject only to the laws and restrictions of their own alliances, in addition to the following Provisions of this treaty.
Provision II: Non-aggression
The bond formed by this treaty shall preclude the signatory alliances from engaging in combat and spy activities with one another unto perpetuity and for five full days (one hundred twenty hours) following any cancellation under Provision V of the accord. Any minor breach of this Provision shall be dealt with privately and cordially between the leadership of the signatories to this agreement. Organized breach of this Provision by means of open warfare is grounds for the immediate dissolution of The Treaty of the Ancients
Provision III: Intelligence and Hostility
In the event that either signatory should discover any information pertinent to the security, stability, or sovereignty of the opposite signatory of this treaty they are obligated to inform the jeopardized party immediately. Furthermore, in signing this pact the undersigned agree to refrain and protect one another from any attempt at covert hostility including but not limited to espionage, coordinated rogue attacks, undermining of reputation, compromising of alliance headquarters, and conspiracy by foreign alliances or entities. A breach of this Provision by means of attempting any covert hostility operation on a partner signatory to this agreement shall be grounds for immediate termination and considered an act of war.
Provision IV: Defensive War
Recognizing the respect between the SoM and TTK, this Provision hereby dictates that under any circumstances if either of the undersigned finds itself attacked by a foreign power, the opposite signatory to this agreement is required to come in full force by the side of their ally, without exception. The attacked signatory of this agreement maintains the right to waive assistance. Should the party required by this treaty to defend their ally not respond within 24-hours the abandoned ally may cancel this agreement immediately.
Provision V: Aggressive War
Should Either alliance find itself preparing for war 48 hours of notice shall be given to the other signatory for any request of assistance be it militarily or financial. Either signatory has the right to decline said request but is highly encouraged to accept the request if the reasoning and justification in the cassus belli is deemed as legitimate reason for war. Legitimacy is determined by the two signatories and no one else.
Provision VI: Termination
This treaty may be terminated by either signatory at any time. Except in circumstances outlined in Provision II, Provision III, and Provision IV, this treaty shall remain in effect for two full days (48 hours) following notification of cancellation. Notification is advised to be given privately to the opposite signatory's government.
Provision VI: Amendment and Ratification
Should the signatories at any time come to the consensus that it is in their best interests to modify any Provisions of this accord, this may be done with a simple agreement between the undersigned. Henceforth this treaty is ratified by both SoM, and TTK

Tonight we come together to witness the longest night of the year and the beginning of winter. Over the centuries this has become a joyous time, as families join together and exchange food and gifts. We must remember that this was not always such a happy season. In ancient times, the first day of winter marked the beginning of along, cold, and often hungry wait until spring. During that wait it was not unusual for many members of the community to die. The oldest and the youngest, those too weak to survive without fresh fruits and vegetables, and victims of diseases that passed quickly in small houses around smoky fires would past away. This night was a preparation for the harsh times ahead. No one knew when death would come nor in what dark year Ragnarok's demons would swallow the sun entirely along with the gods and the men whom they protected: So it is on this night we join together, as they did then, to remember that all things die. Cattle, kinsmen, and even the gods themselves will someday pass away. We can only hope and pray that this night will not be the beginning of that endless night, that the sun will rise tomorrow, heralding a spring still far to come.

Sons of Muspel - The Alliance of Paladin Soldiers MDoaP
Provision I: Sovereignty
The Guardians of Freya Treaty shall not infringe upon the sovereignty of either The Alliance of Paladin Soldiers nor The Sons of Muspel and shall serve only to embody the mutual respect, trust, and friendship between these alliances. All the Brothers, and Sisters of SoM are great full for the support thus far shown for this announcement. we know it was a rather large announcement, in length, and in meaning. but we are great full for the time taken by each of you to read it, and hopefully understand a little more about Who we are and were were going here. past Mis conceptions are perhapses understandable, they are what they are. i can only hope that , we And CN as a whole can move beyond them.

I am a Norsemen, my real life name is Thor. I am a follower of Asatru/norse in Real life and belong to a kinderd. That being said the purpose of the alliance that Me and the others from NoV/NoR formed is not based on ideas of Adoph Hitler, Nazis, White Nationalists or any form of Superiority, but to have a honest alliance for the Folk of CN, a place to call home as what we are, Brothers and Sisters.

First, there are avowed Nazis and radical white supremacists who yet call themselves or their groups "Heathen", and who abuse our holy symbols and our Gods' names to promote hatred, violence, and totalitarian political agendas. The truth is, however, that there is nothing less Heathen than blind obedience to a demagogic leader; nothing less Pagan than the promotion of mental slavery over freedom. These groups try to use the fact that Heathenism is the ancestral ethnic religion of Europe to promote ideologies of race hatred. In this they ape the Nazis who tried to use the ancient symbols of pagan Germany for the same reasons. The truth is that although Heathenism is a modern revival of ancient folk ways, in which honoring the ancestors is important, it certainly does not promote hatred of any other ethnic group or religion.
However, our Paganism is a living faith, and we have vital personal relationships with our deities. Although Heathenism is a personal religion without dogma, and the actual personal spiritual practices of Heathen-folk vary as widely as do the people themselves, there are some concepts Heathens hold in common: the belief that everything is alive, that the Earth is holy, that we can speak directly to our Gods and Goddesses, that we are responsible for our own souls and behaviors, that freedom, honor, duty, loyalty, love, hospitality and courage are our highest principles. Our Gods and Goddesses are benevolent, and are aligned against the forces of destruction. Hatred, racism, and despising the weak are absolutely not a part of Heathenism. According to the laws of Örlög , what we do comes back to us, and we believe that hate and senseless violence diminish the perpetrator.
Asatru, or Odinism, is a religion based on that of our Norse ancestors. Because the Norse originated from a dominantly Anglo-Saxon region of the world, some people in the press and in hate groups have indicated that we are a group of white supremacists with motivation to hate others of color. This is just not true. While there may be factions of Odinists who do proclaim these ridiculous traits, they are just that, FACTIONS. No different than the KKK being Christians.
Asatru is our native Way. Just as there is Native American religion and native African religion, so there is native European religion. Asatru is one of its expressions. It gave our ancestors comfort in millennia past, and it can give us strength and inspiration today.
The word "Asatru" comes to us from Old Norse, the tongue of ancient Scandinavia, where it means "those loyal to the Gods." Since the ancient Scandinavian version of our Way is the best documented, it has given us much of Asatru's terminology and imagery. The soul of Asatru, however, is not confined to the Scandinavian model, but encapsulates the belief of all the Germanic peoples. Indeed, Asatru reflects the deeper religiosity common to virtually all the nations of Europe.
As a part of the great European Folkway, Asatru has a number of characteristic beliefs. Some of these are:
The world is good. Prosperity is good. Life is good, and we should live it with joy and enthusiasm.
We are free to shape our lives to the extent allowed by our skill, courage, and might. There is no predestination, no fatalism, no limitations imposed by the will of any external deity.

It is the intention of the Sons of Muspel to share information of our Teutonic ancestors. Primarily their religion, lore, and ideals. Those of us who have ancestry reigning from the western to northern European continent, circa 1000 CE, should be particularly interested in this information as it is the way our ancestors thought and believed. Many of us are re-acquainting ourselves with the Gods and Goddesses of the Ancient Norse. Odin, Thor, Freyja, Frigga, and Tyr to name a few. Living our lives according to the Noble Virtues, the standards of living set by our ancestors. And reuniting our folk with our ancestors through the Asatru (True to the Gods) religion and the Kindred’s associated with them.
This too is a significant because it has been 800 years since our ancestors were officially stripped of their religions. Think of that and honor your ancestors in your rites. Let them know we are realizing and reinvoking the Gods and Goddesses of their era, more and more of us are abandoning the religions forced upon our ancestors, including the fear, shame, and slavery associated with that religion, and returning to the ideals that empowered us and gave us strength. No longer will we bow our heads, bend our knees, or be slaves to any God or Goddess...
Asatru is the ancient religion of the Germanic and Teutonic people who reigned from the north and western European regions more commonly known as Scandinavia.
These people paid homage to the Norse Gods (i.e. Odhinn, Tor (Thor), Tyr) and Goddesses (i.e. Freyja, Frigga, Nanna) who represented different aspects of the world around them. Through Odhinn's wisdom and Tor's strength and might, warriors would go into battle confident and strong. Through Frigga's mothering nature and Tyr's judgment, domestic issues would be resolved with love and fairness.
Asatru was strong in the regions spanning from Greenland to Finland and down to the Netherlands and Germany until Christianity fell upon them, torturing, murdering, and raping people into submission. And by around 1200 CE (Current Era) Sweden was the last country to adopt Christianity as its national religion. Although many still practiced Asatru in their homes and villages after several centuries it was hardly even a household word.

TRUTH
The practice of being honest and say what you know to be true and right.
Blind faith has no place in Asatru. Our ancestors may have been sublimely mystical, but they were at the same time severely practical. No pie in the sky, we must act in this world rather than calmly wait for the next.
HONOR
The feeling of pride and self-worth that you possess by exercising truth and integrity, and the desire to show respect for this quality when you experience it elsewhere.
We must be true to what we are, and we must insist on acting with nobility rather than baseness. Our interior standards must be banners held high in our hearts.
We believe that our ancestral religion, which was practiced by our people for many thousands of years, better suits our nature that any Eastern universalistic spiritual discipline.
This does not mean that we as a folk, who follow similar but different ideals, should not come together and share them. In modern society, and our fight to be who we are, we all stand a better chance to not only survive, but to reclaim what once was ours, by uniting as pagans, as Heathens and stop the petty bickering between ourselves.
FIDELITY
The practice of loyalty to your Gods and Goddesses, to your folk, and to yourself.
DISCIPLINE
The practice of being critical with yourself first, then with others, if need be.
Let us dare to be all that we can be! Let us take risks, and taste the richness of life. Passivity is for sheep. We refuse to be mere spectators in life.
HOSPITALITY
The willingness and practice of sharing what you have with your folk, especially when they are far from home.
The isolation and loneliness of modern life is foreign to us, nor is it a necessary evil. We call our Folk to return to kith and kin, to family, clan, and tribe.
INDUSTRIOUSNESS
The willingness and practice of working hard--always striving for efficiency--as a joyous activity in itself.

We have no masters! Those who would enslave us, whatever their excuse are our enemies. The totalitarian ant nest is repugnant to us who demand the free, bracing wind of the Northlands.

Those actions outside the game are not our prerogative. Member’s Real life and CN members for that is not our business.
2. When Real life ideology is brought into the game in a fraglent manner, Racist statements, RL threats ect. These actions will be dealt with harshly and immediately
3. We strongly disagree with witch-hunt, and finger pointing. And will not do so. We will not Search for OOC reasons to take actions... Those that show themselves, in actions/words, as well as blatantly in there Nations we reserve the right to deal with them just as we would any member that crosses the same line.
These influences in CN, are a threat to all nations and Alliance not just those of a Nordic, or Germanic theme and can not be tolerated.
We will not police the world either or be party to puppetry of our forces. Those individuals we find in violation will be dealt with on our terms.
In short, The sons of Muspel have no Love for the racist factions within CN, nor any we find in our Own ranks, that bring it into the Game... we have and will always deal with these matters quickly and harshly internally.. And those same types that cross our paths at large will be taken out as well.

Article I: Sovereignty
It will be understood that both alliances shall remain sovereign and independent organizations. Either organization taking any action against other entities not included in this agreement does so without implication of the other signatory.
Article II: Non-Aggression
No member of either signatory may participate in, support, or condone military action against a member within either signatory. If a member nation of either signatory alliance is found to have done this, they will be ordered to offer peace within 24 hours of the initial notification, and pay reparations equivalent to the total damages inflicted. This payment of reparations must not take place if doing so would be in violation of any other treaty, document or instrument of surrender. Defending nations are required to limit retaliation to the number and type of attacks received.
If the attacking nation refuses to offer peace to the defending nation within the specified time frame, without credible reason explaining the lack of compliance to the articles of this treaty, the attacking nation will be expelled from their alliance. Further, the expelled nation is to be considered a rogue by both signatory alliances, and dealt with accordingly.
Article III - Civility
The members of each signatory will commit to remaining civil towards each other at all times, particularly in public channels, but also in private channels.
Article IV - Aid
In case of a conflict involving an attack on a signatory alliance by a third party, the attacked alliance may request aid, either financial or military. The requested alliance, while not obligated to, is strongly encouraged to send available aid. This article can be enacted by the leadership of either alliance. Legitimate requests for assistance include, but are not limited to: rogue attacks, both conventional and nuclear; wars, both large and small scale. The signatory that has been requested to provide assistance has 72 hours to either approve or deny the request. This article may not be enacted if it would be in violation of any other signed treaty, document or instrument of surrender.
Article V - Espionage
Both signed alliances agree that under no circumstances shall either signatory alliance engage in espionage against the other. Furthermore, should a signatory receive information that points towards a possible leak in another signatory's security, this information must be shared and discussed immediately.
Article VI - Intelligence
Neither signatory alliance shall withhold information from the other signatory alliance that constitutes a direct threat to the security or well-being of the other signatory alliance. Both signatories shall strive to keep the each other informed of threatening situations as often as possible.
Article VII. - Optional Defense
Neither signatory should feel obligated to come to the defense of the other in times of war. However, signatories may formally request mutual defense when threatened. The requesting party may not view this as a reason for cancelation if that request is denied. The request will be decided upon by the decision maker(s) in the alliance that military defense is being requested from.
Article VIII - Termination
Termination of this pact requires 72 hours notice. This notice is required to be given firstly via private channels. Any intentional or planned violations of the articles within this treaty result in the treaty being considered immediately void, unless otherwise agreed upon by the leadership of both signatories.

For clarification We did not split over WT as his return was basicly right after we left... We split over disagreements with leadership and direction.
We did cut ties and diplomatic relations over some actions that involved his presence/staments as well as others within NoV. this is nothing that needs to be said here , as its old and now done drama. we had disagreements with leadership there as well as some actions after our departure.. it was once our home it no longer is..

Ive always found the Nazi tag, reprehensive, one of the worst things i could be called and as a group its been tossed the way of those Nor/NoV members in the past a lot, while not truthful.
That said Im all for a hunt when its a real deal though and you dont get much more real then SF. happy hunting and we have always been supportive of such moves in the past. and i sill am. so have fun

for those that dont know or havent read the entier thread SoM is small but thriveing alliance based on strong ties among its members, we are a family we are folk. above all we take care of our members just as we would our selves. it is a nordic/pagen brotherhood, but dont let that exclude you above all we honor the brotherhood. not your belifes, any and all are welcome as long as you meet our reqs for joining. we ask that all aplicants be at least 18, and over 5k NS.. though on occasion exceptions are made.. if you think a small tight knit alliance is the home for you then give us a look or come have a chat with us just about any time you will find a member or Gov avalabel in our irc
